What if Marvel made a part 2 to Spider-Man Web of Shadows. Who would you think could be in it and what costumes would Spider-Man wear. Would Carnage show up and finish what Venom started.
What heroes and villains would Spider-Man team up with to stop another powerful thread from destroying the world.

I thought the game was really good. I mean  in the game team up with heroes and villains such like in Spider-Man Friend or Foe.
In the red suit you can fight so fast  it almost look like Spider-Man is Superman. In the Black suit you can use all the powers of the symbiote and you can  find other symbiote  people such by sensing them.  I think that Marvel should make more video games like this even if is not a Spider-Man game. If only they added  the part  where Venom  make people into symbiotes in Spider-Man 3. That way it wouldn't  look like a bad movie like it is now.  I such it would cool to see a Spider-Man Web of Shadows 2 Game.

Spiderman 2 was the best Spiderman game in my opinion. The N64 version and ps2 version was good when they came out. Never played 3. It looked really good but I heard mixed reviews.

If they made another one you should be able  to select your own heroes and villains in the game. Carnage could be the main villain,but I'm not sure if you guys want to see a giant Carnage with five heads. Now that would be a whole lot scarier than a giant five headed Venom.
If the sequel was made you could  play as Spider-Man and all of his costumes from the comic. I
 also think that Black Cat, Venom(If he survived the exposion at the end of the first game), Luke Cage, Moon knight, Dock Ock, Iron Man , the Hulk or any other characters you can think of.

How about Carnage and Kingpin was the main villains and instead of a symbiote army they made an army of  another species of aleins with a small number of symbiotes.
I think the sequel should have the FF or The Avengers this time instead of S.H.I.E.L.D. I  really think they should make sequel that was even better than the first.

The first game was decent, had some pretty fun combat, but the swinging was a little off and it annoyed me to no end that MOON KNIGHT (A guy who Spidey barely knows) took the role that clearly should have gone to DAREDEVIL, one of Spidey's oldest allies in the superhero community. I know they explained why the FF couldn't be there, but DD should have been and he would have fit perfectly into MK's role.

Ranting aside, I do think they should make a sequel. But it shouldn't be all about Spidey with the symbiote suit AGAIN, that would just be repetitive and boring. They need a new gameplay mechanic. I'm not sure what, but hey, I'm not game designer. But I do know that if they did another 'Symbiote invasion' story for the sequel, it would be just plain stupid.

"I enjoyed the game. I like how it expected you to know comic trivia(fight with Wolverine), but it was kinda short. But the way they expanded Spider-Man's combo and they did a great job with air combat. If they did a fallow up game, I wish they didn't called Web of Shadows and it didn't involve symbiotes. Yeah, symbiotes again would be a bad idea, but I'm still trying to come up with a cool mechanic to replace the black suit... But then maybe they don't even need an extra mechanic, just do a Spidey game...

Ooh, never mind, I got one. A first for Spidey free roam games... TWO PLAYER CO-OP!

With all the characters in the last game, lots of people were expecting them to be playable. And this is something that lots of people want. I know it'll probably never happen, but having Spidey swing around New York with Daredevil or Black Cat or maybe even the Human Torch at his side would be awesome.

Anyway, they definitely need to do another story that they made up themselves. Maybe something to do with the Sinister Six, maybe something to do with Kingpin, maybe both... Just something that involves lots of goons and bosses.

Now that I think about it they should make it a little bit similar  to Marvel Ultimate alliace the game where you can pick your own heroes and villain that you think would be perfect in the game,but I think Wolverine should be in it as "Symbiote Wolverine" and Carnage could be one members of a super villain team called," the  Sinster 12"including Kingpin as also a member. which is a new upgaded version of The Sinster 6. I'm getting bored of seeing the The sinster 6 alot they should upgrade them to become the sinster 12. I think that would be really awsome to see.

I would rather see an Ultimate Spider-man 2 video game, but i still think the first web if shadows was ok

If you ask me Web of shadows did look  like  a ultimate Spider-Man game little bit.because Venom looks like Ultimate Venom except he shaved his gold beard and Spider-Man looks purple instead of Black when he is wearing the suit.

I liked the game. The only thing that bothered me was having to go all the way across an (Almost) to scale re-creation of NYC five or six hundred times...

With me,I keep getting uncontrolleable glitch every time I play it such like my Mortal Kombat game.
Other than that it was a good game I think that was how Spider-Man 3 the should be like plus some of that stuff should in the Spider-Man 3 movie that way Venom wouldn't have a small part movie and could have been in Spider-Man 4 the Movie. What I ment by that is Venom and Sand-Msnd should have build a device that transform people into symbiotes. Then Spider-Man and Harry team up to stop them.  There should have been a Lizard cameo in it too. That way ehen Spider-Man 4 comes we could see Lizard in the movie.

yeah it would be cool if they made a second one with carnage taking over new york just like all the little carnage alien symbiotes.

I'm glad you agree ComicCrazy. it would to see Carnage in it as the main villain. The only problem is that I don't know what Carnage would
use to take over New York.

Overseer, i think the the storyline is great, but i think everyone here is missing the point.  If Carnage was the main villian in SWOS2, then he wouldn't try to take over New York, he'd try to kill everyone.  The Carnage Symbiote's HOST is SERIAL KILLER!  (Has anyone read Maximum Carnage?)  Think about it.

Another thing i think is that a sequel would be hard to make because there are two whole different outcomes.  They would have to base the sequel off one outcome, or they would make it so at the very beginning of the game you would chose a Red orr Black side and have a different storyline for each.  That would take quite a bit of money and programming though.  They would also have to make it stick decently to the comic books if, and as far as i know of, there hasn't beena full scale invasion in the comic books.  We know that the Carnge symbiote was ripped apart by Sentry, but it is unknown if Kassidy was inside.  If he wasn't, we still don't know if he could regenerate the symbiote.  Toxin would not be good to put in because he is a rarely seen character and a spawn of Carnage, who is spawned off Venom, who dies in the first game.  Unless they went with a completely different storyline and characters with a different game title, Web of Shadows is dead.  they should just stick with the original, and quit while their ahead.  god knows theres enough sequels out there.

Another thing is that there are two endings to WOS, so the programmers would have to either give a choice of which side to pick and there would be two seperate storylines.  that would take quite a bit of programming and money.  I think they shouldn't make sequel, becuase God knows theres already enough of them, and if they did, it would probably have to be based off the comic books if they wanted it to be any good.  There was a Planet of the Symbiotes, but that was numerous symbiotes, and WOS had Venom taking over everything and making mini-symbiotes to enslave humans.  In planet of the Symbiotes, he teamed up with spiderman instead of fighting him.  I think that they should quit while they're ahead, because it wasn't that bad of a game.

Spider-Man Web of Shadows 2 would be the first Spider-Man game that I completely pass up. I loathed the original one beyond belief. It was poor in every department, every department. I'm glad that Shattered Dimensions is the next game in the series, though I will miss the ability to swing across the city
