Hmm...interesting...assuming that his weapons don't fall apart when hit, and that his skin could stand some kind of attack I'll give it to him, but yeah, good fight, someone is losing a hand

This might not be the best option, because Hal might not think of it but bubble construct + air removal = hulk defeat. GL's have done this before...just not sure if Hal would go for it...

@Sydpart2: GMK Godzilla was a magical being(he was made up of the souls of the dead from WWII or something)

Almost every version of Godzilla stomps. 1954 Gojira has some difficulty, but he still wins.

but were his attacks magical though? Because a creature with magical origins can have attacks that aren't magic at all.

I am not sure they never stated

Damned Toho and it's unwillingness to divulge some word of god on contentious matters.

lol ok, well I'm gonna be nitpicky, since Godzilla is a scifi property then unless specifically stated the creatures abilities should be considered based in science, ie they are only physical/natural abilities that the creatures have and not magic.

As for how Godzilla deals with magic, Mothra and a few incarnations of King Ghidorah's attacks are explicitly magical. To this date, Mothra has never seriously injured Godzilla and pretty much always dies. An amped King Ghidorah in GMK lobbed a magical attack at Godzilla that blew up a large harbour and a significant portion of a city. Godzilla gave no craps and beat the crap out of King Ghidorah.

Ok, I appericate you approaching the topic of magic, but a friend of mine (whom is a huge G fan) says that King's origin has mysticism to it in some versions but that his attacks are not based in magic, to me, Kratos' wins this based on the Hades Hooks which is an entirely magical weapon that has almost nothing to do with physical abilities...

In GMK, King Ghidorah's attacks were completely magical, as KG was a magical creature in that film rather than the typical world breaking space alien.

Just from what I've been told he's a dormant creature that's able to be brought back in Japan's time of greatest need (when Godzilla shows up) through a mystic means but that he doesn't have any actual magical abilities, just a "basic" monster. And even if he is the type of attack you described him using is only a small portion of Kratos' arsenal. Like I said the Hades Hooks would probably win this for Kratos or at least be his best bet because they take away the soul of whoever they're used on. They have absolutely no dependence on the physical, as long as the hooks hit you they will work, so how could Godzilla counter that?

The thing is, Kratos would need to actually touch him and the Hades Hook are pretty much the weakest attack ever in the Game. Godzilla is accurate enough with his beam to hit a hurtling meteor in space from the ground and tag hypersonic fliers like Rodan with it. Also, I doubt the HH could kill anything. As for KG, Mothra sacrificed her essence to Ghidorah to fuel him with enough magic to give him more firepower than nuclear bombs, and Godzilla still roflstomped him.

Radiation breath is kind of a nonfactor here...He can hit a meteor ok, those things are huge...like really big, like the size of mountains minimum...Kratos is one dude...and also, golden fleece has been shown to repel major "projectile" style attacks, IE the barrier generators that pervented you from entering the bog of lost souls in game 2...that means the radiation breath attack could be turned around by Kratos giving him time to advance toward Godzilla and pull his soul out with the hades hooks

Not sure to be honest. Kratos has beaten opponents of Godzilla's size before.

Several...Hydra, Kronos, The Colossus of Rhodes, Ares, Zues...But like I said, this seems to come down to how Godzilla deals with magic, it's not like Kratos' weapons are just hack and slash stuff, he's got a lot of magical energy behind them...
