The main villain of Season 4 will be Bane, who’s fight with Arrow will be a scene-for-scene cut-and-paste copy of Batman’s fight with Bane in TDKR that will end with Bane breaking Arrow’s back over his knee. Arrow will then have to get a person of questionable mental stability to replace him and defeat Bane before then having to defeat his psychotic would-be successor.

If this happens, I will legitimately get irritated.

There is simply no way I can be fine with Arrow taking Bane. Bane is a 100% Batman villain.

@frozen: It's possible. I really doubt they'll ever use any villain more major than that though, especially with Gotham having Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman.

Bane seems to be a wild-card. Gotham probably won't have him, so Arrow could...

Some of this I can actually see happening,like Felcity forming a team with Laurel and Huntress,Lance getting mentally tortured by Slade,Arrow creating contingencies for dealing with meta humans with said contingencies getting misused.

Bane isn't out of the left field either,he's an international Batman villain just like Ra's,venom can easily be tied with mirakuru,Santa Prisca has already been referenced,and just like Ra's started off as an adversary for Merlyn,Bane could debut as a Deathstroke rival. It's rather plausible.

As for the thread topic we get it Arrow resembles Batman, more so the Nolanverse imo (tone wise ) as for villians I hope we get a more Arrow centric villian for season 4, although since Oliver has faced off against Deathstroke and Ras before I consider them his villians despite who they are primarily associated with.

1. I'd agree with you regarding the similarities to the Nolanverse. It's been pointed out in reviews I've read as well.

2. I also hope for a main villain who is more of a Green Arrow villain. Only problem is, who do you use? Green Arrow's rogues gallery has never been terribly good, which is likely part of the reason why they use so many Batman villains in the first place. Brick might be a good choice, depending on how they handle him. In fact, I'm actually not able to think of anyone else who would really work for a big bad. Cupid doesn't really have enough to her character to carry an entire season, and Merlyn and Deathstroke have already been used, so it would probably be pretty anti-climactic to bring them back for another turn as the big bads.

Amanda Waller perhaps?

Well, you can't please everyone. Still, most people thought it was funny, so I guess there's that in the end. And a B for effort's not the worst grade either, so I guess I'll take it.

If nothing else, I think we can say that the last one probably won't see the light of day, and that's probably just as well.

This was awesome! Thanks for the laughs, the most funny thing about all of this, is that I see most that most of this stuff could actually happen in Arrow.

@black_arrow: Which is what I was thinking myself. Some of these predictions really aren't out of left-field, at least not entirely. While I doubt they'll really rip off of Knightfall in it's entirety, I do think Bane becoming a villain in the show is a very real possibility at this point.

I believe season 4 is supposed to be centered around Argus and Hive. Also, Arrow isn't all that similar to Batman. Ras actually fits very well into the Arrow-verse.
