I've been reading Hulk for years and as far as I know it's all based on his current anger level. During World War Hulk he was extremely focused and had honed his rage to a precise degree making him incredibly deadly yet not blinded by anger. Even then though it was still dependant on his emotion state. My source is the World War Hulk Prologue.

I know I'm a little late and probably nobody will ever read this but I have to agree with X35 and TheGreyOutcastX about Danny and Johnny. Johnny only has the cooler name and the little fact that he came first. Other than that the Danny Ketch saga really perfected the character. Hence why ever single iteration of Johnny Blaze since he has looked identical to Danny Ketch and has all of Danny's powers. I'm placing my vote for a Danny Ketch series that has nothing to do with Blaze or Alejandra. And of course, the reason why we're all here, that is a very impressive collection! Made even more impressive my the Marvel Spotlight #5! My only question is... where are the Bowen Designs Statues and busts?! What about the old west Ghost Rider, Carter Slade? Very nice though all in all!

First off, these are my opinions. Too each their own. In regards to the recent GR series being cancelled, I say thank you. Rob Williams iteration of Johnny Blaze was by far the worst he's ever been written. I was actually starting to like Alejandra but Blaze's rendition was sickening. I attribute that to Williams trying to match his character to Nic Cage's portrayal. Both films were horrible IMO. The second movie would have been enjoyable as an exploitation actioner similar to Crank if it weren't for Cage's awful performance. Cage, Mark Steven Johnson, and the PG-13 rating are the sole reasons why both films have failed. The finest rendition of the character came from Howard Mackie's amazing run during the 90's. Blaze was awesome and Ketch was even better. The two of them working together made it one of my favorite books that Marvel has ever put out. The reinvention of Ghost Rider in the 90's (Danny Ketch) was the defining moment of the character and the reason why he still endures. This current GR title was a pale attempt to reinvent the character. Furthermore it is the continued support for Nic Cage's GR films and terrible comics like this new GR and Red Hulk that perpetuate crappy comics and crappy movies. Demand more from the creators! We're the ones that keep them in business!! Great titles like Nova, Immortal Iron Fist, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Jason Aaron's Ghost Rider are cancelled and are replaced with something far worse. That's not the way it should be... sorry about this post. I kind of exploded all over the page...
