I think you are exaggerating a bit..first of all, doomsday isn't weak...Secondly, Thanos has jobbed recently too..(see Avengers assemble, Bendis run)...and it was embarassing...and to your last point...Thanos doesn't spank superman and the entire JLA...It will be a hard fight if it happened
Thanos will utterly and easily dominate the JLA by himself. He will oneshot Superman and everyone involved if he feels like it. At best they all get 3 hits.

I also remember him killing Surfer in 7 hits, beating down Blackbolt after tanking a number of his full power screams, tanking Surfer's best blast, tanking a 2 lightyear wide blackhole, tanking Odin's best, tanking Galactusx2 full power blast, fighting and causing planets to explode on the first punch, and more.
Try to take his low showing all you want. It just makes you look bad. Thanos handles far more than this on average and will dominate the JLA with ease.
...and SA Superman sneezed a solar system out of existence...every powerful character has incredible showings...I respect Thanos's feats...My point is that it's going to be a difficult fight and he won't oneshot the JLA...That's just ridiculous!!
