@FourthDeity: Sadly that isn't a joke, fanboys will be fanboys, and we seem to have run into a few of them on this thread unfortunately.

@redbird3rdboywonder: Pfffft, you crack me up. No, Aang did not have full control over it against Ozai, otherwise he would have used it earlier.

"When you become a fully realized avatar you can access the AS at any time". Prove it, there is absolutely nothing to suggest Aang could fully control it in this fight.

As for Katara; no, no she cannot and in most cases, would not use bloodblending without a full moon. Did you see her using it against Azula? No? Hmm, I wonder why.

@morgrim: I have given my arguments already; team Fairy Tail has far stronger attacks, and Erza outclasses any of them in speed, versatility and overall strength. My arguments have something behind them, you only fanwank.

@Nelomaxwell: first off natsu never beat him gildarts did secondly erza may be power full but we are talking avatar state aang here the power of earth incarnate plus lucy and gray wouldnt do much and i doubt natsu can handle the combined power of azula toph and katara so avatar for the win

Avatar state Aang is probably THE MOST overrated character in history.

I know right, people out there thinking he can toss continents around and stuff.

@redbird3rdboywonder said:

@MrPhil123: Aang can go into the Avatar State whenever he wants as he became a fully realized avatar in the final episode and Katara doesnt need a full moon to bloodbend as shown in the episode The Southern Raiders when she bloodbended the man who killed her mother

Bull, you have no proof for this whatsoever. Even in the final battle he couldn't control it properly. And you may want to go back to that episode again, the full moon was out when she bloodbended that guy. The first time anyone ever used bloodbending without a full moon in the series was Tarlok, Katara never did it.

@morgrim: Your arguments were flawed. Aang cannot automatically go avatar state whenever he wants, and Erza's attacks have far more power and scale than anything shown by team Avatar, as I have proven. The speed advantage also goes to Erza, as well as fighting skills (she was dual-wielding swords with her feet at one point). You are massively ignorant of Fairy Tail's abilities if you think team Avatar win.

@Walker696: Aang would be owned by Erza. She has superior fighting skills, speed, is more versatile, and is far more powerful.

@redbird3rdboywonder: It would be out of character to go straight for bloodbending and she can't do it unless there's a full moon lol.

The sith warriors should win easily simply due to the force.

@ImTheDamnBatman: Doesn't this violate the rules for battles?

Anywho, what do you mean "the Trunks saga"? Do you mean when Trunks first appears in the series?

@Mad8Baller: actually i was speaking about their anime version which r basically at the same level so its anime/cartoon vs anime/ cartoon and how did u get comic vs manga

@MrPhill123 is posting stuff from the manga. It violates Comicvine rules. Since this is basically now turning into a half the people voting Avatar cause they like them more and half voting Fairytail.

I hadn't realised that providing proof violated the rules. Fairy Tail stomps here, there is a good chance that Erza can solo.

@onilordasmodeus: For the record, Gandalf>Witch King, the latter was only that strong in the movie.

@ShootingNova: Which of them is faster is debatable, both Gandalf and Voldy have shown good reaction times, though I would give Gandalf a slight edge (for deflecting Legolas's arrow).

But Gandalf has more spells than Voldemort? I find that very hard to believe, unless you can list me a few. Voldemort can win via avada kedavra, rendering Gandalf immobile, energy blasting him (the thing that broke the Hogwarts barrier), roasting him with fire or turning him into a pocketwatch. In terms if the number of spells at their disposal Voldemort has shown more from what I've seen (again, if you give me examples I will reconsider).

@MrPhil123: What? your kidding right? A Maia spirit could solo the entire HP universe

I wasn't arguing that it couldn't with my last post, just that I hadn't seen anything so far to suggest it could. All I'm asking is what feats a maia spirit has, what it can do.

@VercingetorixTheGreat: Interesting, I would go Onoki>Raikage (only because of his showing against Sasuke)>Tsunade>Gaara>Mei.

As for the battle, Mei curbstomps the first fight, and may win the second. Avatar state Aang would outclass her in power and could probably turn all her attacks back on her, but there is a decent chance she could blitz him before he could do anything. If you were to equalize speed Aang would stomp in round 2, and probably give her a good fight in round 1.

@VercingetorixTheGreat: How so? I'm genuinely interested to hear of some of his feats in Maia form.

@ShootingNova: Then why didn't Gandalf do that to Saruman? Maybe he could negate his shield spells and then attack for the win, but what's to stop Voldemort launching avada kedavras at Gandalf or a spell on the scale of that which destroyed the barrier seen in the last film? Has Gandalf ever blown someone apart from the inside, out of interest?

As it stands I just don't see Gandalf outclassing Voldemort to the point that it's a definite win.
