@mrdirector786:

Don't worry. Mine is a very unpopular opinion too (TASM2)

You prefer the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films of TASM movies?

I have not yet seen Amazing Spider-Man 2, but I have seen the first film. As of now, I would choose the Raimi films just because I liked the first and second films more than the first Amazing Spider-man.

@therenegadewarrior: If you are curious, now that I have seen Amazing Spider-Man 2, I will say I think I prefer the Amazing Spider-Man films. I admit I didn't care for the first film that much, but Amazing Spider-Man 2 is my personal favorite Spider-Man movie and I don't know what all those quacks at Rotten Tomatoes are complaining about. I felt it had flaws but overall I really enjoyed it.

@dragonborn_ct: I will admit I enjoyed Age of Extinction. But just like with the other films, I'm not going to call it a good movie at all. The film is WAY too long because there are enough subplots to make 3 movies, I'm not a fan of how Optimus was characterized as a murderer (though to be fair, he was like that in every film) and almost every other word he uses is "die" or "kill" and he's angry almost all the time, and the Dinobots actually barely even appear in the movie and don't even show up until the end. On the bright side, I did like Lockdown and I enjoyed the action, but it drags on way too much. Like, the action sequences did feel exciting to me but after a while even I started feeling like they should have ended a while ago. I also kind of like these humans more than the ones in the previous films, but that's just me.

I will say that I think it's an alright action movie, but as just a film in general it's not very good. I think that if anyone enjoyed the previous films, they may get enjoyment out of this one, otherwise you should probably just skip it.

If you're wondering about my status, I'm really annoyed that this movie just ended being like the others. I was hoping that this would be a genuinely good film that I could also say I enjoyed, but instead it's just another movie where I had fun with it but it's not a good movie. Luckily, I heard this is the last Transformers film Bay will have anything to do with, so at the very least that gives me some hope that the next movie (which I'm sure there will be, not only because the movie ended with a possibility for a sequel but also because I imagine it will make a ton of money) may be an actual good movie.

As for the picture, uh... I would caption it with some sort of comment wondering how she could bend her body to do something like that... not that I'm complaining. :P

@mrdirector786: *Sigh* So typical... I kinda expected it. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've seen people so disappointed about the Dinobots, but specially since they are never referred to by their names and they only show up at the end. While I do appreciate that Lockdown being more of a badass villain, I don't know why they couldn't have just made Megatron like that. And the lenght? Oh God, I heard that was over 2 hours and 45 minutes. Bay said that would have being the shortest movie ever...

Hehehe the Invisible Woman just become my favorite :P

Have you seen the TMNT new trailer?

What do you think of this movie, Doc?

@dragonborn_ct: Yeah, the length of the film I think is the biggest problem. No matter how much I enjoyed the action sequences, I could feel the film's length. But as I said, it's not just that the action sequences are too long - it's also that there are too many subplots. I seriously think someone could make a trilogy out of all the subplots in the film. First, there's the whole government cracking down on the Autobots, and then there's the company creating its own Transformers, and then there's Lockdown and who sent him (this is probably the biggest one. I won't spoil in case you actually decide to watch the film). Each of those I think could have served as a basis for a standalone film, and yet here they were all crammed into one movie. There were also multiple moments throughout the film that I think could have also served as possible endings.

I saw the new TMNT trailer. Admittedly, I liked it and I am kind of looking forward to the film. Granted, Bay's name is on it but we need to keep in mind he's just producer and not director. I'm not a huge TMNT fan so I don't know how close it appears to be to source material, but so far I haven't really seen anything too objectionable.

I actually saw the trailer for that film when I went to see Age of Extinction. Of all the previews I had to sit through before the film began, it was probably my favorite. It also made me wonder if we could ever see a live-action Castlevania film, but at the same time video game based movies don't exactly have a great track record.

@mrdirector786:

How are you doing today?

How many episodes of Arc-V have you watched, and if you watched an substantial amount of newer episodes, has it gotten any better to the point it's worth watching?

I'm good. How about you?

So far, I actually forced myself to catch up with every subbed episode so far, which I believe would be up to episode 9. As of now, exactly one thing happened that caught my interest.... Other than that one thing, the show has been meh and I wouldn't recommend watching it yet. I'll continue watching it and let you know if they actually do something with what has happened so far.

@mrdirector786: I am actually not in a hurry to watch this movie. I am low on money right now and I refuse to download or stream anything out of fear of viruses. Besides spoilers never bother me. I wouldn't care much either way...

You see the problem is not that Bay is not the director... The director in question Jonathan Liebesman is so awfully terribly average (just look his filmography up), he is so unremarkable that Bay is the only one getting any placement in the trailers despite being only the producer for TMNT. There is no way you could tell Liebesman is behind it.

I am pleased enough that this trailer looked similar to the first LoS 2 trailer way back in 2012 E3

Can you believe this is the first major Dracula movie made ever since Twilight was made popular?
