I don't feel that anyone has ever done enough with this character. My dream is to write a Dazzler comic that finally seals her place as an A-lister in the Marvel canon.
Not always an intriguing character - depends on the writer.
I've always been fascinated with this series. As much as I don't love crossovers, I like that Marvel returned to this model of crossover to keep the core books relatively unmuddled.
I had a soft spot for Marvel UK.
I can't even tell you the amount of times I traced images out of this issue.
The man has my dream-job.
This is an amazing page.
A rare combination of light-hearted and solid writing. One of my all-time favorite limited series.
I don't love everything Ellis did on this arc, but man was opening up the page to Bianchi's art a stunner!
Not a character I always have in mind as a favorite, but I love her every time i see her.
Old favorites die hard, even when they're poorly written for years.
Though his single issues can occasionally be a little overly drawn out, I have yet to read an arc by Carey that I dislike.
So, of course, just as he is getting to be an awesome dynamic character they cut his hands off. WTF?
From a fanboy perspective I hate her even in concept, but damn does she draw so many amazing writers to script her.
This series is utterly amazing. Great writing, great arc, great narrative structure.
She was patently lame in her old-school appearances, but from Mechanix forward I really enjoy what they've done with her - a brainy mutant who would really prefer to stay out of the fray. Very much a protege to Beast.
They had such a strong start with him that I was a little disappointed to see him fall into the Elixir/Laurie love triangle and then turn bad. They had a wonderful chance for an updated take on Rogue. Still, in concept what a terrific character.
This was so amazing. The most cinematic X-Men comic ever created, in my opinion.
Despite the awful collaged cover, this issue is one of my favorite X-Men fight scenes of the past few years.
