This is a lit of my favourite character's from other media. This includes any comic book character that originally featured in other media, whether that's TV, film, novels video game. This will include both heros, and villains.

Indiana Jones although not originally a comic book character is a character I have loved since way before I ever picked up a comic book. This is cause two of the first lot of films I can remember enjoying were Star Wars (which is my favourite film series of all time) and Indiana Jones (my second favourite film series of all time). Although Star Wars is my favourite series I prefer Indy as a character more than any from Star Wars. Having recently got the set on Blu-ray I decided to get some of the comics and they aren't actually that bad. I'm not usually a fan of film adapted work but some of these stories are actually quite good. My favourite Indian Jones film is Last Crusade, although Raiders of the Lost Ark comes in at a close second. Although the alien aspect I felt should have been left out of Indy films I still quite liked Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but it wasn't the same level as the first 3.
I have been a James Bond fan all my life and grew up watching the films. Like Indiana Jones and the Star Wars characters on this list Bond wasn't originally in comics but having loved the majority of the 23 films it would be criminal to not put him on the list. My favourite Bond is Pierce Brosnan followed by Roger Moore although I can see Daniel Craig moving up to my favourite Bond if he keeps up the performance he did in Skyfall. My favourite Bond film is the Man with the Golden Gun and loved Christopher Lee as Francisco Scaramanga.
Star Wars is my favourite film series of all time and although it didn't start as a comic series felt like Indiana Jones further up some characters should be introduced into this list. My favourite character in the Star Wars series was Han Solo as I liked his attitude and how his character changed from a selfish man to a thoughtful man throughout the films. My favourite Star Wars film is Empire Strikes Back and I love all of the original series. I also unlike a lot of people like the prequel trilogy but it is nowhere near as good as the originals.
Luke Skywalker the main character in the Star Wars original trilogy is next on my list and like Han further up he just had to be here. I have always liked the Luke Skywalker character and even though I prefer Han he is still a character I am very fond of. I liked the way he transitioned from farm boy to Jedi over the films and how you see (if you've watched the prequels) similarities to his father in him.
The first video game character on this list from one of my favourite game series'. I first played Uncharted after seeing the trailer for Uncharted 2 and have loved all three console games as well as the Golden Abyss game for the PS Vita and am looking forward to any further instalments. I also thoroughly enjoyed the comic book series that came out to accompany the third game which was one of the best video game to comic adaptations I have ever read.
This character originally featured in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter novels but I never really heard of the character until Marvel started adapting the books into comics. I have since read the books and have to say that it is probably the best book to comic adaptation I have ever read with most of the original material featured in the comics. I have really enjoyed the art over the series both Brett Booth and Ron Lim's although I personally prefer Booth's. What I love about these stories that despite the violence and adult themes they still have brilliant core stories and great character development. Also the action sequences are brilliant and I love that despite the fact she's a experienced vampire hunter she still gets scared of them.
