Powers: Lawrence, as Soaring Hawk, has conditioned himself to obtain peak human physical attributes and has trained to become one of the best martial artists in the world, even at his young age. He is a superb detective and a genius at inventing. He wears a cybernetic battle suit of his own design, that gives him anti-gravity flight, enhanced strength, enhanced durability, enhanced vision, and cybernetic wings used to stabilize flight and used as bladed weapons, among other assorted abilities. Lawrence was born with an abnormality due to his metagene. Whenever his metahuman power is activated, Lawrence takes on a different, more aggressive and brutal nature that has come to call itself The Black Bat. The power that results during this change is a deafening shriek that does catastrophic physical damage as well as inducing uncontrollable hysteria, madness, fear, and dread within anyone who hears it. (This ability is an Acoustikinetic, Empathic hybrid power.)
