Wow, I did not expect that from him. I've had a few damn good debates with the guy, nothing he's ever done would make me believe he did that on purpose.

Used wrong words. He is weak to magic, electricity, energy manipulation, kryptonite, mind manipulation. It was in terms of other JLA members.

Almost everyone is vulnerable to magic, electricity, some form of energy manipulation and "mind manipulation" Superman, in most terms, is better resistant to these than the vast majority of JLA members.

@The_Thunderer: YOU, no, I know what it is to put work in and a bunch of nerds commenting on comic are not these types of athletes, see how very few people have put themselves below average, well 50% of people are below average, Its easy to sit at a computer and write BS, but I know it is lies.

Look: Bench 1000kg

Squat: 1500kg

Deadlift: 2000kg

Martial arts experience: 200 years of training for 18 different militaries, world best in 324 martial arts

Best Feat: Destroyed a tank with a karate chop.

SEE, ITS BS

And what makes you assume that only nerds enjoy comic books? I enjoy comic books, and am a former college recruit level athlete. Make sure your mind is in gear before you engage your mouth (or hands, since we're on an internet forum)

And what is to say that "nerds" can't enjoy working out. Or that "nerds" cant be "athletes"? I was both in high school. It all comes down to personal tastes and what piques your interest.

Exactly my point. Not everyone who enjoys comic-books or video games are, I apologize for the sterotype, "fat slobs". I've spent my entire life being physically active but at the end of the day, I'd always love coming home to reading some comic books, fantasy novels, and playing some video games. He acts as if anything we've done in the gym is physically impossible. I hate the ignorance that comes out of some people's mouths.

@Deranged Midget: Thanks man, its so much easier to just keep going than it is to stop and then try to start back up on a fitness routine. I played OLB in high school, and was going to go to Rutgers University to play for them before I found out I had a brain tumor. After 14 months of chemo, universitys considered me damaged goods.

Damn dude, that's brutal... I played Offensive tackle when I was high school and a little bit into University but had to stop due to a childhood injury where I completely dislocated my shoulder and it never healed properly.

@Jnr6Lil: I'll agree that most times yes, Avengers can be more childish but some story-lines involve more maturity.

If your surfer was so into the future tell me why he didn't see Black Panther's chokehold coming.

That's a low blow referencing an incredibly poor showing. You could also make the same claim with Zoom being stabbed through the back by Thomas in Flashpoint.

Are all characters current? They don't have much trouble clearing this at all.

@JediWaffles: Lmao, no it's dumbells, that's ridiculous. It's definitely a barbell with a 1 rep max.

Bud, you've evidently never stepped foot into a gym before. What I can do PALES in comparison to the majority of guys I work out with. Have you ever seen people work out? All that I've said is average of one whose stuck around in a physical life-style. It's not anywhere close to being uncommon.

Everything you stated is completely ridiculous. Quickly pointing out, a 1 rep max means lifting the heaviest weight you possibly can ONCE and with struggle. I'm not bragging, it's quite unimpressive compared to a lot of people. I trained in boxing since I was a kid, unusual? Absolutely not, others have engaged in other forms of martial arts. I've recently taken up brazilian jiu-jitsu. Am I good at it? Hell no.

So stop attempting to over-exaggerate things when clearly anything I've done is easily accomplished by one who has engaged in sports or been in the gym for a few years.

What are you prattling on about? Just stop, you're embarrassing yourself mate.

@Petey_is_Spidey: Haha nothin, i was just..in awe for a moment. 505 is quite a lot.

That is. I could only dream of doing that. Maybe if I stat hitting the gym again I'll do 505 lbs lol.

I.A.T.

Damn dude, that's a massive bench. I could never imagine doing that :P

I know one of my buds doing it. I probably bench around 420 now since I've gained a few pounds. IDK. All I know is that I have MASSIVE thighs that it's freaky.

I.A.T.

420 is still extremely impressive. My one rep max is only 285 man, needless to say I've lost a lot of weight since I stopped playing football but I've never been able to bench that high. That's quite the achievement there man.
