@Delphic: He has potential to be able to channel lightening with out it but he has far more control with the hammer, also the hammer does give him the ability to fly. Basically he needs the hammer because he hasn't reached his full potential.

The hammer is basically a crutch. Thor was demonstrated to be at his peak potential as Rune King Thor, needing Mjolnir no more.

What do you mean by this?

As Rune King Thor, he become as powerful as Odin, basically to the point where he didn't need Mjolnir anymore to utilize his powers to their fullest potential. Currently Thor can't access his full potential and utilizes his hammer to direct his power. At least, that's the way I see it.

Clint. Nothing the GL ring has shown in the film would grant it strength enough to pierce Iron man's armour nor Cap's shield and with Thor's hammer/power, he has more than enough power to wipe him out.

i guess it's hard to tell about Hal in the movie, especially since we dont know how powerful Parallax was. But, he still seemed pretty tough especially for a rookie lantern. I do think however that he'd have no problem taking out the Iron Man armor. The shield, he wouldnt be able to damage it, but the ring can just make constructs around it.

Parallax did nothing to prove that he was actually a massive threat besides murdering you by feeding on your fear. He was killed in a ridiculous way and Hal barely stood a chance against him. Clint should have little trouble knocking Hal out.

@X35: Never meant that it led into Back in Black canonically and yes, I know it was extremely relatable to "The Queen" story-line even to the point where I used to think they were basically always one and the same. I merely meant to say that after "The Other" saga, it led into a whole set of stories separate from what Spider-man used to be portrayed as.

Slott's the best thing that happened to Spider-Man since ever.

Truth be spoken.

JediX: You could review SW novels, similar to what I have been doing on the Ledger. Though that prospect does beg the question: Would anyone on CV actually read or care about reviews for SW novels?

I second this, I would love reviews about Star Wars novels new and old alike.

Honestly JXM, what type of games do you own/like that you would be willing to review? I can name plenty.

EDIT: I wouldn't mind seeing reviews of the Star Wars films either.

The team loses. Hulk's proven to be a sufficient challenge in a base form. With his intellect, improved fighting skills, and far greater strength/durability, Hulk proves to be more than a challenge for the team.

Isn't this a little one-sided? Anakin could easily chop Doom in half with the saber.
