Very Interesting thread indeed. Two masters of the craft representing characters outside of the norm in a well executed debate.

Kudos to both sides, whom laid out their respective arguments well. Each point was articulately presented, rebuttals were concise and to the point, credit was given were credit was due, and the aesthetic flow was proper without excessive scan dumping.

That being said, my official vote goes to @thetruebarryallen after quite some consideration. Overall his argument swayed me more, and felt his strategy was the more sound against his opponent. Well done to both sides, short but fantastic debate.

Moving along. There are assuredly Avengers rosters that earn a victory over SBP. However, the one depicted here may not necessarily be the one IMO. The vast majority of this team would get decimated relatively quickly.

I feel a solid argument could be made either way on this one TBH.

I'll just throw this out there for a little food for though though. Surfer is more physically durable than he let's on. Let's also keep in mind that most times, Surfer is holding back....

That's a bad example to use to prove your point. That Surfer was so amped he was able to fight 2 Thanos and 1 Cosmic Ghost Rider, in fact he one-shot Cosmic Ghost Rider casually and Old King Thanos who had previously defeated even abstract entities had to prep to fight this Surfer, so that's not exactly the standard version of Surfer used here.

I'm well aware of the context behind it and how amped Surfer was. Also, I didn't explicitly state that the scan was an end all be all example for my point. It was more so a casual example to Surfer's durability against striking attacks, and mostly just smack talk humor honestly.

@alphamon: Still Surfer. He's simply leagues above in versatility. He could simply drain IH of all his Gamma. And on the flip side, there's nothing Hulk is going to do to put him down physically.

Especially taking into consideration following the events of Silver Surfer: Black. Surfer now is intangible, and immune to physical based attacks. But he can sure use his powers on the offensive still.
