Ferrigo predicts hulk solo movie.... so how does it seem to you? is that announcement? or official affirmation?

It's obvious they where gonna make another Hulk movie the only question was whether it would be in phase 3 or phase 4, but i highly doubt it's gonna be a planet hulk movie.

I think the arc should go something like this. Put out a Hulk movie (probably vs. Rulk) which destroys Vegas. During the post credit scene, have Fury send Hulk to "destroy a rogue satellite" but instead is jettisoned off in space with a recording from the Avengers saying why they felt Hulk was too dangerous to remain on Earth.

Marvel also uses the events in Vegas (and other solo movies) to set up Civil War for Avengers 4.

Sometime around the time Avengers 4 is released also release Planet Hulk.

And then that sets up Avengers 5: World War Hulk.

If they involve planet hulk events in the movie, they'll have to take care of cool special effects and story-precisely imitating comics........and that's a huuuuuuge responsibility.

I could definitely see the end of Avengers 2 having a crazy fight where Hulk does some ridiculous damage and at the team/shield feel he's too dangerous so they shoot him into space (leading into the Planet Hulk story). It would then lead into a pretty epic Avengers 3 where Hulk comes back with a axe to grind.

Various reasons.

In Lou's case its probably just love of the character.

In many cases its self promoting.

I think we are getting ahead of ourselves, Lou has made announcements before about Hulk movies and nothing happened. I hope he is right this time, but I would rather wait and see If anything comes about.
