Oliver Queen was a spoiled, thrill-seeking playboy, until he was left stranded on a deserted island for several years. There, he trained to become a master archer in order to survive. After his return home, he used his new-found skills and his wealth to became the costumed vigilante known as Green Arrow.
Although - an Arrow Season 1 vs. Arrow Season 2 thread would be awesome, as would a Arrow vs. Smallville thread would work, although Smallville would be slaughtered, ha, ha! XD.

Ollie is a great character, dont base your knowledge only on Arrow,man......
Maybe so, man - but the character doesn't interest me on the same level of Spidey or Batman, not close...

The Oliver Queen in Arrow is quite different from Oliver in the DC universe.

Exacly what i was trying to say.
I know you did. I just wanted to back you up.. in the Arrow Oliver is a lot more emotional than in the comics and don't real have any political views. The whole you have failed this cty thing in Arrow isn't political and even though he deals with corruption it doesn't deal with the same political issue that for instance traveling heroes does.

And in terms of simply characterization,he's funny in the comics.....there he's like green Batman.
