Francisco Cueto i Martí was born in Sabadell, Barcelona in 1935. He worked as an artist for foreign publishers of comics through Bardon Art and Selecciones Ilustradas.
In Spain, he had worked in the war comics of various Bruguera and Toray collections and also collaborated in magazines such as DDT, Tom Thumb, Macabre and Graphic Terror.
In the 1950s his work appeared in British publications with stories like Annie Oakley, Captain Miracle, Daniel Boone, Davy Crockett, TV Heroes or Young Marvelman.
In the 60s and 70s he worked for Commando, War Picture Library, Battle Picture Library, Hotspur, Hornet, Lion, Diana, Star Love Stories and Warlord as well as working for Danish, German and Spanish comic publications.
He died in 1997.
