has thor done ANYthing without his hammer.... the way marvel write him... without his hammer he is literally nothing
Have you read thor: god of thunder? Because if you did, you would know that thor without mjolnir still has all of his weather abilities, still has his strength and is still the thor we all know, he, without mjolnir cleaved APOCOLYPSE in half dude. Mjolnir is just a weapon, thor just channels his power through it
What are Thor's current feats of strength in Thor:GOT??
I've never seen anything really impressive from it.
Young Thor managed to hack clean into Gorr's spinal cord. He also hit Thor with a space shark hard enough to knock Modern Thor out briefly. Modern Thor knocked down the doors to a dwarf city that couldn't be taken out by dwarf forged bombs or a Troll, or a Giant. Modern Thor hit Gorr so hard that his own knuckles broke and planets were shattered in the background.
@deadcool: kinda old but still with him being a warrior or thousands of years shouldn't his fighting skill still be higher? & he shouldn't be that stupid either just strong headed
Who has that scan scan where Thor is all "For I am lord of the winds...and the storm!Thunder and lightning are my hunting dogs...the rain is my whip...and when I must, I ride a great and terrible steed...the earthquake! Nothing mortal can stand before it."
@deadcool: Any warrior with any amount of trained skill is a martial artist. If you are a fighter with a thousand years of battle under your belt, have half a brain and are physically capable, you are going to be a match for any fighter, period. The asian martial arts have their corollaries in European martial arts largely forgotten over time. Greek Pankration predates Chinese martial arts by millennia and forms of wrestling and unarmed fighting can be traced back to prehistory. But even if you discounted the unarmed stuff--weapons combat is martial arts. So by the rankings listed, thor is probably the best war hammer fighter ever; a master swordsman; matched Hercules in wrestling, and beat loki, fenris and ulik in hand to hand combat unarmed. By their own rankings he should be a five at least and more probably a six.
This makes me miss this version of Thor so much. The JSM run just had this epic quality to it, even in the slower issues, where everything seemingly meant something.
GOT was epic in its own right in the way it was one long narrative.
Middle panel. Thor dodges close range tank fire that travels at least slightly faster than the speed of sound. Notice Thor isn't using Mjolnir to fly either so the speed can't be said to be from the hammer.
Another reason why the Wolverine fight was bullcrap
This was thrown by Thor from the Rainbow bridge and never lost any momentum after it traveled multiple dimensions. Thor can summon that hammer back with ease, and claimed that his father couldn't did this same feat if he tried.
Thor once fought in a war for 2 straight years.
Thor easily one-shot Donald Blake with lightning.
Who absorbed the Odin/Asgardian-powered beings, and thrashed Asgardian warriors on his way on of Asgard.
Thor was whooping his ass in the Destroyer armor.
Hit Yggdrasil so hard his crow heard hit, and went to him.
He also hit the Phoenix Force powered Moon Knight so hard, the Phoenix left him.
This is after having the pressure, gravity, and weight of multiple moons crush Thor for days.
And still manage to fight through it and grab his hammer.
