In Memoriam

I really can not keep it up for much longer, so I am just going to have at it. Yesterday night, the writer of the characters Tanner Brenkov, Creed and Lincoln protocol, my roommate, passed away. I really do not wish to get into the details of his passing, at least not right now (I hope you all understand). What I can say was, it was as untimely as possible, and things are very bad over here right now. His real name was Brian, he loved X-factor and vertigo's swamp thing and was born in Canada, my best friend, was just recently engaged and was also a two year long member here on Comicvine. And as of last night, I have been posing as his characters for my own personal reasons, mostly because it is helping I suppose. Forgive me if anyone takes this action in a wrong way, I didn't mean to pose as Brian himself, more so carry on writing his characters. I am not certain yet if I will continue to do so, if I can stand it that is. I myself may take a leave from writing on here, maybe I won't I really don't know, for now I am holding up decently, so if I just stop posting, I am sure you will get it. All I ask is please, please forgive me for writing his characters after his passing, and not informing you all sooner. I am finding at this time that it's very difficult to write this, so understand it's briefness. If any of you considered Brian a friend here on CV, I am greatly sorry that he is gone, and I can only imagine he will be missed on here.

I feel for you, My friend and neighbor passed away no more than a month ago, I am in no way comparing the lost I felt to yours I am merely saying the pain will pass. The only, only thing I can stress is than he is in a better place. I can never begin to imagine your suffering at the fact he was a room mate. Please know you and Brian are in my prayers. I am always here to talk.

I have no idea what to say..just that I am so terribly sorry for your lose!

I'm not going to say I know you feel, because nobody can understand somebody else's pain because everybody goes through pain differently, no matter how similar the situation. You have my condolences and best wishes man, I'm sure you know it but the vine is always here if you need anything.

I'm not even gonna say it gets better. I got people, friends and family who died, from the time I was a kid to even now, and I still feel it. But don't let that control you forever, every moment of every day. Condolences.

Oh my f*cking god! I feel terrible for you! Me and the dude may have fought, yeah, But I take it all back! The guy didn't deserve that, and I really have the best wishes to you, his family, his fiancee and any of his other loved ones. NO ONE Should have to go through that man. If you need anything man, just say the word.

I'm quite sure the vast majority on here would understand that your need for some form of solace under the circumstances far outweighs any perceived deception on your part. Personally, if you find it to be an effective coping mechanism, have at it, as I would never hold it against you. You do whats best for you and yours and not worry about any imagined slight.

I will not pretend to have known him well, but he was one of the few I interacted with at any kind of length, always came off as a nice guy which I'm sure carried over into real life. Of course my condolences are extended to all involved.

I... I have no idea where to begin. I know consolation from a computer screen isn't ideal, but I've known both of you on here for a long time, and consider you both friends even though we've never met face-to-face. There's no need to apologize for assuming his characters in his stead. It's completely understandable. Anything we can do to carry someone on in our memories is worth doing, and you didn't just carry him on in your own memories, you passed a little piece of him on to the rest of us, and I think we are all grateful for that.

Whether or not you choose to stay, just remember that you have friends here, and we're all with you whenever you need us.
