Life outside the confines of the prison walls, was something that was going to take quite a bit of getting used to for Benji. Even after being approached by Valerie he was still hesitant of those outside the walls, inside he knew the hierarchy but here on the outside it was all fair game. He himself was fair game to any of the many things that ran rampant through the world, the only thing he knew he had a slight bit of control over was his mind. And even then it w as becoming ever so difficult to keep his mind straight.
The power was building quickly inside him, almost to the point in which he had to release, moving quickly through the skies above he made his way to the skies above Gothic City. A place he was told once was a vibrant place to be for those like himself, but now its in shambles because of the local crime and meta-human in fighting.Searching for anyone in the area he began to slowly ascend higher and higher into the sky, his body trembling with power. Growing irritated with the constant need to discharge, he also hated the weak feeling that immediately followed a discharge.
As the skies began to grow dark and clouds formed over him, rain began to fall and slap his skin. His clothes quickly sticking to his body, he was wet and angry at the burden his body now was riddled with. Looking up as thunder began to rumble, he screamed loud as a bolt of lightening struck beside him as the power siphoned into his own. The sheer heat and energy from the bolt would of torched a normal meta, but his body took the power and redirected it. His body lined with a dark mark before it glowed bright almost a white light.
Then he exploded with energy, the sounds that thundered out from his body almost louder than the cracks of thunder around him. Echoing through the skies were his cries of anger as the energies that had built up within him spilled over.As the last of the over-spill slowly began to die down, his body became weak once again. All sensation was lost as his body went numb and limp, falling like a comet he heard the sounds of the air around him slicing. It wasnt his falling body, but something else racing towards him. But before he could see it...his mind went black.
