Nope, I haven't actually been keeping up with it...until now. Like, Link cards? It seems a bit intricate for a game meant to be played by 12 year olds, lal. It adds a new dynamic in the card game though - but I'll hold my opinion on it as a whole until I see it in practice.

Yeah, a lot lately, lmao. Kinda miss when I had the time to do virtually anything I wanted to, but the cash outweighs the lack of time.

3. I suppose I should expand on that. I respect it for its writing, storytelling, characters, and themes. I'd put it above most anime for that, but it's not exactly my favorite thing to watch. I try to make a distinction between what I consider good in quality and things I watch for fun. I probably have the most fun with mech shows like Gundam and all that, so one of those Gundam shows would probably be my favorite, despite the fact that I don't consider many of the Gundam shows to be all that outstanding.

Anyway, next question (s): When you get your check, will you loan me $50?

Ahh, makes sense. I feel the same with YGO, tbh. Fun as hell, but not even top 100 in terms of pure, objective quality. That's why I usually differentiate from favorite and best.

I still love it, but I watched it while I was still a virgin to anime, so I don't know how well it will hold up in retrospect. May need to re-watch it again to assure it's G.O.A.T. spot. :)
