@soduh2:
I overcame the desire to confront people on the internet when I became a troll hunter and then decided that it was too much energy expenditure. Plus it helped to shorten my fuse a lot when people would confront me simply because I wasn't there in person to punch them in the children. I was too clever for them though and they hated it and it bullied them into silence. I grew addicted that way. Most people are the same when they find themselves in a conflict of words where they have the time to stop and think about what to write back rather than what to say. But trolls just invite you to look stupid by being clever. I can't be bothered with that anymore really. But I'll save up a good fight just in case.
But generally my friends know that I am the same online than I am up close. The same is said online as offline, I am mad, crazy, hysterical, but generally a really nice guy that is always there for people when it's clear they need someone. Otherwise I have few boundaries or filters in both cases!
