*sigh* This is hard. I'm a long time fan of both. However, I have to with Nostalgia Critic in the long run, for a couple reasons. While I feel that Linkara's ceiling is a little higher, he lost a lot of steam, and his reviews are largely dependent on what he's reviewing. Nostalgia Critic, though he's suffered since The Review Must Go On, is still consistently funny and entertaining, and manages to often make more of less and make better review choices. It's a hard and agonizing pick for me, but in the end, Nostalgia Critic is the homeboy that went and started it, he's the progenitor of the internet critic and he deserves to be respected for that.

@jedixman: NC got burnt out of being the the critic so he quit for awhile but people kept b*tching so he decided to come back but do a lot more stuff, like the skits and other stuff he does.

I know.

Those skits come across as incredibly forced. The show has become an overproduced parody of its former self, with "actors" (and I use the term loosely, though the current two are not bad actors - hated the first girl he had on after he returned) and skits that go on for too long. The older shows had more personality.

NC is a character, which is fine. As a critic, Linkara comes off as more sincere, even if he is a character of himself, as well. I always kind of feel like it's the character giving his opinion, not Doug - again, that's fine. For entertainment, yes, NC is more entertaining. As a critic, I actually like Linkara more.

...I like NC's new format, you guys can suck it. I like that almost TV style of comedy.

@_cain_: I actually like it, too. I preferred what he did before, but I understand the evolution, and enjoy it.
