Generally, you don't hear men use "female" in a sexist context. It's usually, "Woman, get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich!", not, "Female, iron my shirt!"
Well clearly you haven't met me.
:P
Black Human Torch, Michael B Jordan just had to apologize and face criticism for calling women females in a GQ article, I could understand if the term was derogatory, but you're a female getting mad that you're being called a female. Who is it going to be that is going to stand up and kill this sjw movement?
Suuuure from the twisted point of view of sjw, feminist or some other offended by the whole world victim of complexes it is a derogatory word, because "female" is word created from the word "male", same with "woman" and "man", lol. And yeah, they are really mad.
You know what I've noticed, whenever I fill out a form online, when it comes to select my gender it always has male above female. Even though female would come first in the alphabet.
Sometimes it seems like these radical feminists are just desperate to forget that they're women and will accuse anyone who reminds them that they're different to men as being sexist, perhaps they're insecure about their bodies.
The source also says this "Rumors began swirling around that he sent a Snapchat to several fans saying that he believes "All Lives Matter." Jordan dismissed the allegations, stating he has always been and will continue to be a strong supported of Black Lives Matter. He denied ever sending out any messages through social or any form, that would encourage ideas about him belittling the importance and significance of the social movement."
Not sure if I can take it seriously, it seems to be digging up anything to get a story now.
@quinnofthestoneage: when I go to fill out an application (or form online), both genders have the word male in it, confusing.....
@cable_extreme: I know the whole Black Lives Matter movement isn't trying to say that their lives matter more than anyone else's but I do find it highly disturbing that people are crying racism every time someone on line says All lives matter. I mean sure if you're being a smart ass about it I see the problem but the statement in and of itself is pretty much the opposite of racism.
@cable_extreme: OMG I never noticed that
My guess. People find scientific terms in casual conversation offensive, because it ascends their value to that of test subjects.
I for one, think it`s playful.
@neonindian: They have no reason to do that. Like whites shouldn't be i sulted for being called whites. Or blacks for being called blacks or men for being called males.
Oh, I can explain why it's male and female. As well as a science joke. But people might not like it.
I think Female may have different connotations in other countries... but in America, it's not really a "Bad Thing" to call Women the "Female" term...
This just sounds extremely odd. Nothing here sounds offensive.
What makes you females so evil???
Why must people be so stupid that they can't even handle being called by their own gender...
I hate this world. I can't blame a man for being a misogynist anymore. I'm starting to get Rorschach's world of view.
