People that voted for the 80's couldn't have lived through the decade. 90% of the music was utter crap. Having said that though, I voted for the 60's, a decade I barely touched so I think people may have greater appreciation for the music of their parents because they spend they're formative years hearing them play those songs. Also, I love the Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Clapton, Motown, soul, etc...

60s-90s.

If I had to choose one I'd probably say 90s.

The '90s is such an awesome era of music, and I don't think a lot of people realize that. In the '90s, we had Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, No Doubt, Weezer, and so on. So much alternative rock goodness.

Late 90's, early 2000's. At least most of my favorite artists were at their primes then.

@Ryagan: Exactly. And that's just rock n' roll. There were also a lot of other great genres and songs too.

Music turned into shit when it entered metal/rock era. Thanks to the musical god Justin Beiber and the band of his holy prophets- One Direction, it is safe now.

The 2000s, hands down. Grew up with it, extremely love it back then, still now & forever will.

The 2000s was the era where my fav music genres (emo & post-hardcore) was very prominent & rising. There were also really great hip-hop, hard rock, mathcore & pop-punk. The 2000s was also the decade where musicians get more personal, deeper & darker w/their lyrics.

I like 80’s and 90’s a lot - 80’s for just bangers an 90’s hip-hop - but I have to say 2000’s onwards. Tunes of me childhood an that just feel better.

70s. I like the 80s, but it suffers from too much cheesy synthesizer. You’ll find that for many great artists that their best work was usually in the 70s. Also, most of the greatest bands of all time were in the 70s.

For me it's 60's and 90's. If this poll is about pop music. I listen to The Beatles, Westlife, Backstreet Boys, Rick Astley, The Bangles, Michael Jackson etc. I also listen to modern pop music but it sucks right now compared to classic pop. So I prefer rock music because modern pop music sucks these days.

I would say modern, but I listen to synthwave, trance, disco, dubstep. You know...real music, but some of those came earlier. So I'll go for all of above.

This is a subjective question that cannot be answered as everyone has a different taste in music and some people don't listen to music at all.

2018. We have geniuses like Lil pump who dropped out of harvard to save the rap game, i mean which rapper can say gucci gan 20 times without breathing? Plus the dude is a master manipulator, he manipulates her grandma to sip lean and sell crack.
