@joygirl: It depends on whether the other person is good at kissing- if they kiss like a fish, it's gross, but if they're really good at it then it's awesome.

@squares: What is it you enjoy most about comics?

@ostyo: I love the fact that you can tell many different types of stories with comics, ones that might not be as compelling were they on film or in book format. It's a visual medium that employs both text and art to tell a story, and the balance between the art and text has to be more or less perfect for the comic to really shine, and I think that's really cool.

@squares: Well said, wish I had a way with words like that. Lol

Awesome! I am ashamed to admit I have not picked up X/Y yet. I have a bit of a problem in that I discovered Roms and its hard to play games again on the actually GBA's...lack of a turbo button. At some point though I will break down, especially since they're apparently not very close to making a emulator for the 3DS.

What's your favorite Pokémon?

That's a really hard one. As a kid my favorite was Oddish or Venonat. These days I'm torn between Gardevoir, Tyranitar, Ampharos, Dragonair and Volcarona.

How about you?

@fallschirmjager: The team I'm building right now will consist of a Chandelure, a Cloyster, a Garchomp, a Tyranitar, a Blaziken and, eventually, a Starmie. Not sure if it's a solid team, but they're all pretty solid pokemon.

@squares: Yeah they're good Pokemon. Its a pretty good line up, actually. You have special attackers, physical attackers, and a tank.

Personally when building a team I only get dual-typers and make sure everyone has different types so I can cover as many type advantages as possible. Then I keep a 7th member I rotate in for a HM slave

Its not necessary to go that hardcore to win Pokemon, but I do it anyway lol.

@fallschirmjager: Thanks. This will be my first team where I've EV trained every pokemon (working on the future Starmie at the moment), so I'm really hoping it'll be effective in battles. And yeah, most people go 'eww, EV training, that's so unnecessary' whenever I mention that kind of thing, but personally I think it's awesome that a game like Pokemon has something that rewards people who put a lot of time and effort into it, sometimes games don't do that and you end up sinking like 300+ hours into them anyways and you get nothing special.

People keep asking me my favorite movie, and I keep blanking entirely on it. Part of me wants to say Zardoz, for sentimental reasons, but on the other hand there's lots of other movies I've really enjoyed that are unarguably better movies (like Princess Mononoke, or Leon, or The Avengers, to list a few. Some day I'm totally going to have to sit down and decide on a concrete favorite movie, I guess.

One I've been using for almost ten years now and I feel represents me quite nicely. What kind of a username is knightsofdarkness2?

@wildvine: It was a weird joke from French camp, something like eight years ago. I don't remember the joke itself, but it ended up with me declaring I was multiple squares and everyone else just going 'okay, whatever'.

@bumpyboo: I didn't even know they existed until now, so...nope, never eaten them. I guess it would be cannibalism.

@squares: Gardevoir(best shiny) and Volcarona are two of my absolute faves. My favorite Pokémon of all time will always be the great Raichu, and that be in part because my mother bought me a little Raichu toy when I was a little boy first getting into Pokémon. You could say he was starter. :D

So next question, if your buddies on the Vine were Pokémon...which would they be?

Hmmm, this is the part where I have to name my buddies, and people will feel all left out if I forget them (which I might, I'm a forgetful person). So...uh...I plead the fifth?

@squares: I EV train every time. I spend hours in the beginning area just to properly train my starter lol

The difference between a proper EV trained Pokemon and a not-prop trained one is pretty big. As many as 25-50 stat points in your area of choice.

@fallschirmjager: That's true. I tend to be impatient on my first playthrough of a Pokemon game and will EV train my pokemon if it's convenient, but I only ever really think about doing it properly while building a second or third team.

@ostyo: Fire, hands down. Depending on where I'd be placed in the game I'd want an Arcanine as my strongest pokemon. Or a Chandelure, I guess.

Oh, or being a Dragon-type gym leader would be cool too, but I don't know what my team would look like.

I like her personality, and I really like her outfit. If I ever get enough money to buy a tailcoat and decent top hat I'm totally dressing up as her for a convention.
