Tank Johnson
aka EMP= Electro Magnetic Person
Tank Johnson was an ordinary mechanic at his father’s garage to work his way through college in quantum mechanics, when his powers manifested, absorbing all the chemical electrical energy within a car battery into his nervous and muscle system. His body then turns the electrical energy absorbed into tremendous strength and stamina by altering his cerebral synaptic firing, through this process he can even project electrical waves around his arms or body. His most famous ability is to generate a powerful wide range blast of EMP waves. In order to continue to generate his powers Tank must constantly absorb electricity from electronic devices. Because of the nature of his power Tank could not get within 27 feet of any electrical based device including some much as a cell phone, he would later use his skills as a mechanic to design special gauntlets call EMP’s that allowed him to control his powers to extremely lethal levels. In combat Tank will often place al electrical field around his body, not only does this field protect Tank’s body from most harm but the field itself also does damage to anyone near him. During the Civil War Tank fought off against Iron Man draining 32% of his armor’s energy before receiving a crippling blow from the man of Iron himself sending him to the wheel chair. Tony Stark however was moved by Tank’s dedication to his mission refusing to let go of Tony Stark’s armor while draining it was only when Stark thrusted himself into the atmosphere, where he then thrusted himself and Tank down to the Earth body slamming Tank’s body. For this Tony outfitted Tank’s spine with Adamantium allowing him to walk again, Tony then offered Tank a place in in Fifty State Initiative but he declined heading out South America where he bring technology to a remote village in the Amazon. There he met and fell in love with one of the native’s marrying her and having a son “Spark”.
