The art is pretty atrocious but the deal breaker for me is including Squirrel Girl. It is cool though that Marvel finally made a character so bad that it makes Deadpool look passable.

Anything that helps not making him the unlikeable selfish crybaby from Gillens young avengers run, that couldn't do anything without everyone holding his hand.
Also I do think it works with the way childrens crusade set-up all thre parallells between him and both Doom and Magneto.
As opposed to Gillens atrocious characterization? This one might at least get the characters personality right and allow them to do something except pandering to some tumblrfangirls.

It probably has to do something with the Avengers charter. You need a founding member to nominate the team for actual Avenger status. When Hawkeye left the Great Lakes Avengers, GLA wasn't acknowledged as legitimate due to Mockingbird was the only one on the team. (Hawkeye and Steve Rogers have said criteria even though both came on the second incarnation of the Avengers team)
When did Sunspot leave the X-men? (behind on x-men comics) Is anyone in the x-men anymore jeez.
After the BS known as Avengers VS X-men. Sunspot and Cannonball were on a vacation, Wolverine called them up to join a team and Sunspot was like "WAH, NAH MAN, WE DON'T WANNA BE X-MEN ANYMORE. WE DESERVED A LIFE OF VACATIONS." Wolverine tells them it's for Avengers and they are like HELL YEAH.
And that's how Marvel keep trying to undermine X-men.

What he said. if she can beat Thanos or Doom by themselves, its going to be hard to find challenges for her
Actually, Squirrel Girl doesn't tend to stomp in the way that she swoops in and just one-shots. Either the fight is off screen or she uses some strategy that shouldn't work but does, due to her stories being a joke of how characters like Batman can make ridiculous strategies work and effortlessly beat some planetary level meta-human then go and struggle against some kung-fu fighter. Ninety percent of the time when heroes win their fights anyways she wouldn't look much different from the other characters on the team fighting. Its the nine percent when heroes lose a first round and the one percent of fights when the heroes actually lose that her unbeatable concept would become a problem.
Alternately there is always Geoff Johns how to write Justice League:
Step 1: Take Superman of the board on a time with Wonder Woman and the Flash there is no way any other character would be able to do anything as long as he is around.

@adamtrmm: Not if you ask the tumblr fangirls it was pandering to. Billy was essentially reimagined as Bella Swan Hulkling was the boring boyfriend from every bad young adult novel ever and both were completely defined about their sexuality and relationship and couldn't do shit unless some love saves the day moment happened. Generally were all original members marginalized and mischaracterized so that Gillen could tell you how much cooler his kid loki and Miss america were. The plot was repetetive, convuluted full of plotholes and horrendous characterizations. But hey if you look tolerant by revealing the sexuality of pretty much everyone as something different than hetero in the very last issue and please the fangirls that only care to see some guys touch or kiss in someway so that they can squee and giggle about it you can be as bad as you want you will be showered in praise about how great the story is.
Why the hell are the Avengers´ teams so bad ?? Why don´t they just use the roster from the movies ?? That would be great, but no, they throw a bunch of newbies that never had an importan role in the MU before and make them Avengers,, seriously, what the hell.

Its cuz of the Avengers charter. You need a founding member to use the Avenger franchise. Though not a founding member, both Steve Rogers and Hawkeye have such rights since they were on the second unit to ever exist. When Hawkeye founded the Great Lakes Avengers (he made it official, they were already created) the presence of Hawkeye made it an official Avenger team. When Hawkeye left for Thunderbolts it only left Mockingbird, and thus official team Avenger membership was revoked

I was thinking this also. Will her powers be put in proper perspective now that she'll be part of the normal MU? I'm taking that her own series it's more of an exaggeration series just to poke fun at all the comic titles.
As for the artwork, I like it. Will I buy the series? I don't know at this time.
