Illyria wins. Her fighting skills and supernatural powers are enough to take him out.

hmm so i think Illyria can can this because she possesses more powers and abilities than superman, she is also quite divine in a sense and can altar things, just limited.

Illyria should win here. Her Powers should be enough to...wait. Superman's Super Speed is key here as well. If Supes can out manuver her and get attack from the inside he might have a chance here. But that is so dependant upon how fast does Illyria can move herself. But because I am not clear on this issue I will say Illria smiply becauase if she can keep up with The Man of Steel should should have enough to take him out.

yeah, she'd probably win but then again supes is smart enough to beat stronger ppl and he is super man

Could she move before Superman punches her in the face instantly killing her? Because I don't see 'Invulnerability' on her power chart.

oh she is next to ivulnerable. the only way she got defeated the first time was locking her away for thousands of years i believe.

But if she can manipulate time and space, how would she be trapped?

more or less some sort of voodoo was cast on her dont quite remember really it's been awhile. M would probably know he seems pretty knowledgeable. but i do think i remeber weopons didnt really hurt her. i know he put the beaten to a well known vicious VAMP and he couldnt do a thing to her.

Supes is vulnerable to magic.  Therefore, Illyria ftw.

I dont see how he can beat her,she has displayed speed so fast it was as if she teleported herslf, so she is just as fast with devine powers

I thought I posted in here a year ago. I don't think she wins. She controls time and has faster than human reaction time, but I don't recall anything in the show or comic (definitely not the comic since she had been depowered by then) to suggest her reactions are on Superman's level. And if she can't react fast enough in order to freeze time, then she's not going to win. She's strong and durable, but even with Superman's magic weakness I didn't see anything that said she was THAT strong or durable. Don't think she'd take a hit from Superman very well.

Not all demons are physically powerful, and that one was an old demon, so even if he was, he's old! Also, he was a sorcerer, so that makes me think he knew magic, but wasn't physically tough. I don't think he showed anything to say otherwise. And even if he were tougher than a human, that doesn't put her on Superman's level. What you need are feats putting her on Superman's level of reaction speed (so she has a chance to do something like use her time powers and not be killed) and or his physical power level (so she can survive his hits and actually do damage to him). I don't think you're going to find any though. 

she did kill the whole team angel in seconds in time bomb, and untill she was depowered, nobody could even fase her. I just dont think supes has a counter to the time manipulation. The only reason she was depowered really was because it wouldnt be fair for the good guys to have an ally that strong.

It doesn't really matter if none of Angel's crew could stop her since Superman is leagues above all of them in every way. He counters her time manipulation by beating her before she can use it. 

i guess it depends on how far apart they start.

They'd have to start VERY far apart because Superman is VERY fast.

how often does she use time manipulation in entering combat situations?
can't see her using that right away imo
same goes for supes tho, how often does he use speedblitz to characters that are unknown to him?

She uses time manipulation a lot, or she did, but it's usually of the slow time variety and not the stop time variety. And if it's just slowing it, Superman can always just speed up. He doesn't speed blitz as much, but even if he doesn't go all out, he still reacts far faster than her. And if he doesn't pull his punches (I'm not talking about fighting all out, just not holding back a lot to test her out) he could take her out with one hit. 

I think you're missing the point. He normal reaction time is not anywhere near Superman's. That means she's not going to have time to stop time before he beats her.

we dont know exactly how fast her reaction time is. we do know that she was easily able to easily defeat Angel, Spike, and Wesley without manipulating time. Angel and Spike both had swords, and Wesley had a gun. Her reaction time is faster than Angel's, and Angel was able to stop an arrow shot at his back from a crossbow from only a few feet away.

No, we don't know exactly how fast she is, but we do know that there's an enormous gap between being just faster than Angel and being faster than Superman. Without something to show that she's on Superman's level, I think it's foolish to assume that she's that fast. The speed she displayed does not suggest Superman level speed. I could show you tons of Superman speed feats that put catching an arrow to shame and show that his established speed is far greater than hers. Or someone else could show you, I don't feel like it.

like i said though, when she slows down time, the people being effected by it don't know they are until it's over.

BUT IF SHE'S NOT FAST ENOUGH (BECAUSE HER NORMAL REFLEXES ARE NOT FAST ENOUGH) TO SLOW DOWN TIME BEFORE SUPERMAN BEATS HER, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
