I like how people always bring up his years of experience and he has like 2 fighting skill feats.It's a complete joke.Fighting and beating monsters and gods below his strength,power,and fighting skill level doesn't make him better than She-Hulk.

Dozens of years being schooled in combat techniques (I admit not particulary Martial Arts type ones) and thousands of years fighting a variety of foes in hand to hand combat, some of whom are exceptional fighters, should give him a thorough understanding of hand to hand combat, especially when you consider that his culture is one of warriors.

I have to say that you are the only one the doesn't seem to conisder it. When a character is listed as having centuries of battle experience, it has a meaning. Characters like Zealot and Backlash makes a point to mention it. Hercules, Champion and even Batman has mentioned his years of experience.

Thor didn't grab him because he's a better fighter than DD or anywhere near his level.He grabbed him because he's faster than DD.

It's because of how they fight really. Thor's or Hercules experience would matter alot agianst someone who fought like them. Daredevil would get his butt handed to him against someone like Backlash or Zealot  with the years of experience they have on top of their fighting skills.

Backlash and Zealot are not the same as Thor.They were trained better than he was.
Thor and Hercules's experience doesn't mean anything.For more than half of their existence they fought people under their skill and strength level.
Daredevil would get his butt handed to him by Cap and Wolverine too and they have experience advantages.It's not the experience that gives them that edge though..it's what they did with the headstart they had over Daredevil.

Ok its sense my bad. So centuries and centuries of battles with all kind of foes, demons, giants, gods and other things a god of Thor level learns nothing, he doesn't improve his skills . A norse god, part of a culture that loves to fight and train there buts off .... Perhaps he knows no marcial arts but you can be sure he knows how to fight with hammers/swords/hand 2 hand like the best of them. Anything less makes no sense ... You can defend Marvel boys stupidity/ignorance/bad writing all you whant but it makes no sense.

Well hulk has no fighting skill but his strong like hell, stronger then Thor, So thor fights some one that is stronger then him in hand to hand and stalemates him or wins, Thor also trows his hammer away(in some of there fights) to even the playing field, to win vs hulk with his skill . Imagine a skinny guy fighting a big dude with muscles, just an exemple, not that Thor is skinny or week.

Hulk way under Thor's intellect and speed.He also has a severe range disadvantage.Thor beating him is not a fighting skill feat.Daredevil has beaten Mr.Hyde 4 times.Hyde is strong enough to go hand to hand with Thor.Daredevil gets no accolades for outfighting Hyde though because he's an idiot and terrible fighter.

Hulk being stronger, Thor can't just beat him down. He has to use some form of skill in his fighting. He doesn't just take blows from the Hulk. He has used his hammer to block blows and to counter blows. He may not be a trained martial artist, but he has trained in Viking form of weapon handling. In his youth he used a sword. You think he was just given the sword with no instruction?

Sometimes marvel do stupid thinks. Saying that a GOD with perhaps billion years of fighting under his belt ( if his as old as the earth, i realy don't know how old Thor is, but the earth is about 4.5 billion years old) is worse at fighting skills then some dude like Logan and Cap then yes that is stupid and i don't care they sead that and this. When you create a caracter, a god  that has what let's go with a bilion years of fighting and then ranking him under Logan then that is rong and makes no sense. His a damn viking warrior, better then any of the human viking warriors (for avious reasons). If you take Logan powers away and cap's and Thors. Then put them in 1vs1 each with a sword then Thor cuts them both to little pieces(not at the same time). If you give them both guns then Thor won't do that good but with hand to hand and sword/maces etc his way out of there league for avious reasons, and don't tell me that in all that time he was fighting he learned nothing even vs less experienced people.

The only reason is for Marvel to sell comics. Exemple Superman and Flash, at first Flas was just a little faster then Sups, later on they made Flash way way way faster then Sups, WHY ??? Because speed is all that flash has. 

Realy the only way you win this is by saying marvel put it in comics so that is how it is BUT it makes no sese. Try to explain to me for exemple the other mistakes that Hulk  writers have done like lifting a mountain, how exacly is he going to do that with the powers that Hulk has ???

i personally dont put much stock in the handbooks because most of the ppl that work in comics dont care about the character and dont know as much as ppl who read the comics thats why i only belief what can be substantiated by comic showings not just stats.


besides if we by CIS most characters have major weaknesses that can be exploited by lower powered beings its the basis for almost all comic battles.

if we take away CIS ppl like thor & wolverine would be on different lvls of fighting.. and would dominate ppl in their weight class.

Hulk is a punching bag to Thor.If this wasn't written in comics,Thor could logically beat Savage Hulk any time,any place,without being touched.
He doesn't have to use any fighting skill..in fact,he doesn't even have to fight him.He could just sit back in blow chunks of Hulk away with Mjolnir.
Thor is an ok fighter but he's not better than She-Hulk.She has a crapload of fighting skill feats and he has almost none.There is nobody in his strength class that is a good fighter except,She-Hulk and the Champion.So anyone he has beaten like Balder or Ares for instance with superhuman ability and top level fighting skill,isn't a fighting skill feat because he greatly overpowers them and only won because of that fact.

Whether you take stock and handbooks or you don't,the fact remains that Cap and Wolverine have SHOWN what experience can make a fighter into.Thor has not.They are top tier because they have beaten the best and they were trained by the best.They honed their skills,tested them,and learned even more skills.
