It is spite. Mags can take the entire FF together. Magneto wins in a stomp stompity spite stomp.

I don't think Magneto can beat the Fantastic 4 solo these days, but he does clobber Grimm.

@karetaker Sue is a major threat, as is Johnny with the cosmic control rod. Magneto isn't in his prime, either.

@karetaker: I think that while in his prime, the entire FF wouldn't have been a problem for him at all. But he's getting a bit weaker with age. He'd destroy them all individually, but I don't think he could take them together these days.

That being said, Ben loses this fight pretty quickly.

You know Mags is physically only in his early thirties. He's probably a little younger than Scott. He's just undergoing one of his weird power fluctuations. The cosmic control rod is the only thing that's a threat from any of them but Susie. Without that he can one shot all three of them, then it's Mags vs Sue, and he's superior to her in every way.

@yodagod I know there was a story I didn't read where he regained his youth but I don't think it's still that way. Looks pretty old in the most recent appearances I've ready by him (AvX, Fear Itself, Avengers Academy) and his age has been mentioned a couple of times in the issues with him I've read.

Mags was in his early fifties in the late 1960's. Alpha the Omega mutant de-aged Mags to infancy. He was subsequently re-aged to his prime a few years later, always stated as about thirty. In the interim, the timeline has been adjusted pretty significantly to account for passage of time. As such though thirty or so years have passed real time, it's only been a few years in Marvelverse, meaning he's in his early to mid thirties now. Though still with almost 100 years experience in the use of his powers. How fun is that.

Some artists still portray him incorrectly, and I think the white hair throws a lot of people, but its just part of his mutation. He's had white hair since puberty. He's still technically nearly 100 years old, but physically he's in his prime.

And we all know what happens when Magneto fights Daken.

This is gonna be extremly easy for Magneto.

Magneto pulls his atoms apart.

Magento destroys him.

Magneto stomps and flagged due to a huge mismatch.

Magneto would throw everything he sees against Thing.Thing will be dodging the things that are going against him but in the end he will lose because of the fact that he will be tired and Mageto can go like that until he dies.

It would take a week to find Things corpse in the giant pile of metal rubble magneto left him in...Magneto stomps! Maybe if they fought in the Sahara Thing would have a chance

Magneto can win this in so many way, unless of course Ben could magically do a supreme thunderclap ._.
