Thor knocks him out fast after a mid lengthy brawl, then wakes him up for a mead downing contest for at least lasting a bit against him and being tougher than he though. At seriously Ness, Thor send a a non regenerating lightning bolt to him and vaporizes him and the planet they fight on and he turns to dust and doesn't regenerate until he wills it as the god of Thunder.
