Give Batman a little more prep time and he can figure out something.

I agree with Shawnbaby. In a random encounter Electro should take it, because even Batmans suit has limits. In the recent Batman comics we saw Wraith taking advantage of that and taking Batman out of the fight. He could have killed Batman and that point and Electro would do it for sure. With prep he loses though, because Batman would go in with an even better isolated suit and Electros main advantage would be gone. Then he would actually have to work for his victory.

Batman can likely overcome being electrocuted himself with an insulated suit, the problem would be Electro's destructive capability. On a good day, he can send building's crumbling to the ground:

I don't know if Bruce is going to be able to overcome that in 24 hours. Then again, Max has been beaten by the likes of Punisher and Daredevil so if he's playing dumb then, sure, Batman can win.

I'm going on the assumption that he's doesn't automatically get to use his Hell-Bat suit or something like that.

Insulators can be overloaded. That said, Electro is a morn who has only a small handful o times when the writers decide to make him competent. On the large majority he still loses to people he shouldn't.

@crushyourenemies: And that's why I said a non jobbing Electro. He's usually potrayed as an idiot, but at times, hes actually decently smart. Also, what does Batman have at his disposal to take care of an opponent he has no info on? OP only states he knows Electro is coming, not full intel.

Batman's power is to always be prepared. It will take him less than the time alotted from him to get the information he needs to prepare appropriately. He has certainly taken out enemies more powerful than him with less prep. It's very feasible that he uses his Justice Buster on Electro to call it a day. Or he can pretty much make up any myriad combination of gadgets that will allow him to practically one shot Electro as he has done so to powerhouses in the past. Batman stomps.

Wouldnt he figure out Electro has electrical powers like Static Shock when he hears the name?

Not really. Clayface is a lot more cunning and versatile.

Batman defeated Clayface at his peak when he became immune to most of his weaknesses and had a plan to end Batman.

Electro is nowhere near as smart or versatile. Batman would make quick work of him.

People are over-exaggerating electros incompetence. Batman may win but Electro has had a lot of nice moments.

@spider-manwins: I never brought up Matt. But if you're vulnerable to physical damage like most humans are, losing to Matt isn't a bad showing. Matt has managed to overcome a defective Ultron, Klaw and others well outside of his weight class.

As it is, Max is an underachiever who has never fulfilled his potential.

Hm, not sure if Batman can take it with one day of prep. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has some electricity proof insulated suit. With prep he would probably grab some gadget or device to absorb, drain or trap Electro’s electricity. I’ll go with Bruce for the majority.
