Captain Planet has suffered the mullet for too long! It's time for a radical redesign. Bonus non-points for including any planeteers. Deadline is Wednesday, August 18. All mediums accepted.
i'm not too sure what exactly i was going for but this is what i came up with. *the date says 7/10, but i didnt realize we were in August when i drew it. :P
@afierce: There's a time for mullets. Specifically the 90's. No more :) @innocence: I kinda see what you were going for there. Close to the original, but has some touches that make me think you were going for a uniform more like what Nova has nowadays. And I approve anything that looks close to Nova.
I'm outta here for a few days (work travel). Keep those submissions coming in. For Earth.

@UdontKnowMe: This is excellent. My only real criticism would be about the neck...that thing is a bit much. Other than that good job - I love the hands P.S. Is this Frisch? (I only ask because of the pads on the feet - and the UdontKnowMe thing...)
Now this is what I like to come back to see! Great job everyone, I'm excited to see all these great designs! And this contest still has a ton of time left on the clock, so keep em coming in! Unless you already entered, in which case in wouldn't "count"... but I still haven't seen that monkey the heart kid had. Make that happen!

Again, great hands. The neck needs work, but you already know that...Frisch is an artist on here that does boots like that but is also Himmler. I just thought that you might be someone familiar because of your recognizable style and teasing name.
@CosmicGod432: I'm not sure effective Captain Waffle would be in any battle I can think of. But he might inform children of the importance of a balanced breakfast. The nutrition is YOURS!

Well I wish I could have gone into more detail with this entry... maybe give it some color and more detailed shading... Anyways just so you get a better idea of how it's supposed to look...
The stripes on the boots and the helmet are supposed to be Green, so is his hair.
The Armor is supposed to be Red
The clothes under the armor are Black
His his skin is supposed to be light blue
Originally I had the idea of making it sort of like how Aang from the Last Airbender uses all the elements in the last episode of the series...
