Despite them both being based on comic book characters, they are two very different kinds of films.

There is a reason is called adaptation.
There is a reason is called adaptation.

Batman and Robin plot is more simple and had more imagination.

Spiderman use Mary Jane in a period where he dated Gwen, not only that it changes a bunch of things and made them more simplistic and more child friendly.

Again Batman and Robin has better action, CGI fight scenes arent good just for CGI fighting.

Otto Octavious was changed to fit the movie, his personality and reasons were totally changed and he wasnt even a villain that drive the plot of the movie, The Riddler, Poison Ivy and Victor Swhargharmcnugget were better villains.

Peter is helped by the plot so he has never to face real consequences of his actions until Spiderman 3, Batman faced consequences from Batman Forever to Batman and Robin and had to change his point of view in life in both movies.

The Dark Knight is insanely overrated, with many comic book films better than it is.

None of the Spider-Man films qualify. Especially the reboot ones.

That being said, I will admit to enjoying Alfred Molina's Dr. Octopus vastly more than Heath Ledger's Joker.

I respectfully disagree with you, I like the first two very much, yes the third had the emo peter dance sequences but they weren't unwatcahable trust me there's plenty sillier moments in Raimi Spider-Man 1 and 2, its like the 11th silliest moment in those three movies, I hated The Amazing Spider-Man it remade the first 41 minutes of Raimi movies, it had a stupid origin story, a cock inresponsble immature Peter Parker that lets his Uncle Ben die over Chocolate Milk, and Andrew Garfield is a very inconsistent character: Jumping from loser to hipster to Skater to Tough Guy, but The Amazing Spider-Man 2 that on the other hand is the 2nd best spider-man movie (the best obviously being: Spider-Man 2)

I know, but people need to understand they complaint of little things that make no sense.

Th essence of the work should be the thing you keep in adaptation, in this case the essence of the characters.

Sorry, but why is a simpler plot a good thing?

While I don't agree with your other 4 points, I understand why those points would be important to you and 3 of them are pretty subjective. It's just that first point; I don't equate simplicity with good. Did you feel the Dark Knight was too complicated and you disliked it because you couldn't understand it?

Spider-Man 2 is nowhere near the quality of The Dark Knight. Also, I think Spider-Man 2 is a dull film. It has bored me every time I've tried to rewatch it.

I don't know how you compare them to be honest. One was a very good Batman film, the other a very good Spiderman film. From a critical perspective, i.e. acting, story, sets, props, etc, I think Dark Knight is the more outstanding picture.

Here is my vote..... Spiderman 1 was the best spidey movie... Green Goblin was bad ass.. But Batman begins, and The Dark Knight were both better... Anyone who thinks Spiderman 2 was the best spidey movie is just wrong Doc Ock looked like a fat pervert in his trench coat (ruined the whole damn movie) The amazing spiderman 2 is the second best spidey movie.

    IMO Top 5

    1) The Dark Knight

    2) Batman Begins

    3) Spiderman 1

    4) Avengers

    5) Dark Knight Rises
