Consequences 3
The Summary: We Delve back into the Consequences of Avengers vs X-men, and it seems to cause more questions then it answers.
The Good: OK as much as I am a Fan of Cyclops and the X men in General this issue showed more of the affects of the AvX and that is a good thing. At the same time it gives plenty of face time to both Cyclops and Wolverine. The Panel with Shadowcat & Emma is great, i love them and the little bit with Magik and Storm makes you think. It was good writing that managed to pull you in and left you asking even more questions then you had at the end of Part 2. This is suppose to be a series about what AvX caused, one would think it was wrapping up things but it seems to be opening up more doors then closing! Which is great, it makes you WANT to read the next issue and that's always good. I enjoyed the Artwork as well so Kudos there.
Also Cyclops shows that he isnt the villain everyone wants him to be, even recommending Wolverine's school to his mutant room mate, along with a few other tid bits of information here and there in the comic. It Also shows that they still don't entirely trust mutants despite the fact that the X men Helped them when things where said and done.
The Bad: Well lets start with the Art that i said i enjoyed and that comes with one small exception, Cyclops looks like he needs a meal and needs one quick. He finally lives up to the nickname Slim and not saying that is terrible but its a sudden changed from the overly buff man in AvX. Besides that the Piece with Iron man seems kind of useless, i mean i don't see how it could go anywhere and it just seems there to add pages, so yea. Also the "action" is rather limited.
The Verdict: I say buy, its a good read and the series has been far from disappointing. The action is rather limited but with the story being much more plot driven i don't think that affects the book itself, without saying too much to spoil it i think it has some great character spots for the Avengers, Cyclops, Storm, Magik and Hope and really is at least addressing alot of the major questions fans had after AvX was over. Still it's not answering them, leaving you just enough to want to know what happens next week! Pick up the series, read it, if you liked AvX or just a Marvel fan in general (especially an X men one) you will enjoy it.
