    The Scout Regiment moves Eren to an old abandoned castle where he will continue his training. Hanzi visits and reveals that she's been putting two captured Titans through a series of tests and trials—experiments that she wants Eren's help with.

    I've mentioned before how Attack on Titan was for a long time stuck in a formulaic rut - basically with every episode about rescuing someone and/or protecting a wall, somebody dying, and then someone giving some speech about fighting to save humanity followed by the troops rallying to victory but at a heavy cost.Thankfully with last episode's trial of Eren, the show seems to be incorporating other ideas finally. In this episode, the Scout Regiment takes Eren to a secluded castle outside the wall...
