I think it fits x2 very well.

Plus in Nolan's Batman, Batman's push'n it...he's old and Cat Woman should be younger than Batman.

I dont feel this movie at all.I've still to be excited, for the moment, teasers and artworks have failed me.

I first doubted choosing Anne Hathaway as Catwoman....but I've got to admit I thought the same about Mark Rufallo as a new Hulk in The Avengers and c'mon...He was AWESOME!!!

Ms. Hathaway is a great actress and I trust Nolan on this matter so I'm totally excited about this movie!!!

I'm sure Anna Hathaway will performe well in this movie , i'm just not gonna call her catwoman:P. To me catwoman is a dark skinned female , Anna Hathaway is pale :P I'm just saying what I prefer:)

I see your point as I was also one of those who thought Ledger couldn't pull it off but still saw the movie anyway. This is why, as always, I'm cautiously hopeful for this film.

@Vaeternus: I doubt it will as Avengers has a much broader appeal to it than Nolan's Batman films but, as you said, breaking records is not what it's about. Also, DC would have to get Whedon to do a JL movie well.

@sethysquare: Good point. I do like how in one trailer it shows Hathaway and Bale dancing at some kind of formal looking event and my mind immediately went back to a similar scene from Batman Returns where "Face to Face" is playing in the background. It's a great way to pay homage.

 
I'm glad we got a close-up of Catwoman's mask.  It's been bugging me this whole time because it looked like it was made out of fabric, but now that I can see it better, it actually looks pretty good. 
 
 
I really hope that Nolan saw something in Anne Hathaway that the rest of the world didn't, and that he proves us wrong.  I'm still a little sceptical of his choice, but I've determined to give her a chance.  I know I'm going to love the movie either way.

The lesson that I learned from TDK with Heath Ledger is that Heath had a lot more range and talent than I was aware of. But Nolan saw it, and it blew all of our minds. This time with Anne Hathaway, I'm fully aware of her range and talent, and she was one of the actresses who I was pulling for when she was listed among those auditioning for the role. So I've been excited for it since day one, and the images and trailers have only validated what I originally thought and gets me incredibly excited.

Hathaway will be perfect. My only objection is the mask, but then again that as well as the costume is what disappointed her as well.

Wow...I'm starting my Bat-Month in July. Re-watching Batman Animated Series, replaying Arkham Asylum & Arkham City, re-reading Long Halloween, Dark Victory, and Dark Knight Returns...and doing a mini-marathon of Nolan's first 2 Batman Movies before seeing this in I-Max. :D

Still dont like how Bane looks at all. Catwoman looks decent I guess. And Batmans costume seems a tad bit bulky IMO. Looking forward to seeing this but I still think Avengers will be better (again IMO)

@CODYSF: That version of Catwoman would FAIL in the Nolan-verse. A good portrayal but Hathaway's version seems to fit the tone of the film better. That version of Catwoman was good in Gothic-style Gotham but Pfeiffer would get sh*t stomped by Bale's Batman.

the more i see of this the more i think Bane will suck and Catwoman will steal the show (again). AH is a fantastic actress who is dismissed too often. (see Love & Other Drugs). we haven't seen enough of her in clips to get a feel for her Catwoman but I suspect that is intentional - to blindside the audience.

This truely looks awesome! I cant wait for the movie. But damnit! I just dont see Hathaway as Catwoman, and it doesnt make it any better that we know for a fact that Nolan cant cast female!

I'm glad the tides are turning as far as Anne Hathaway is concerned. I think she's a tremendously good actress and I really do believe this incarnation will be just as distinguished as any other.

What I always find funny is that the fans will scream in opposition to a certain casting but then when you see who they've selected as supposedly "better" contenders for the role it's almost never quite right. So many people have very superficial reasons for their own selections, like virtually EVERY actress with red hair would make a good Jean Grey according to some fans or any actor with a square chin, dark hair, and a certain physique is suddenly a good Batman or Superman. Any bottle blond with a great body is a good Emma Frost, any ingenue photographed with a headband is suddenly a great selection for Gwen Stacy.

Nolan took a risk and I think it will pay off. Remember, Anne and just about every other actress had to audition so something about her in particular was just right for what he had in mind. I think people wanted Catwoman to be "sexier" but anything like Michelle Pfieffer or Julie Newmar's portrayal would've been uncomfortably comical and ridiculous in Nolan's franchise.

I'm a little indifferent toward Anne Hathaway in this. I think she's a damn fine looking woman, but I don't really think she looks good as Catwoman. It was the same with Halle Berry. Amazingly gorgeous woman and excellent actress, but horrible for the role. However, that being said, I didn't think Heath Ledger looked good as Joker until I saw the movie. Then it was like all bets are off, he was absolutely amazing looking and acting in the Dark Knight. Stills just don't do movies justice, and I try hard not to judge based on them. I think Anne's got the acting chops to pull this off, and Nolan definitely has the directorial fortitude to make it work, so lets hope combined they come up with something amazing.

Looks amazing, might be a noobish question but why is Bane not big and muscly and pumping with venom like in previous Bane comics and like in Arkham City.

Anne Hathaway looks like a great actor, and undoubtedly will show off catwomans ego off. Personally, i'm not sure who the actor is for Talia Al Ghul, but maybe Batman will fall for her and then Catwoman and Talia will fight? Be good to watch

Looks good, i thought it came out June 7th but got mixed up with Prometheus, so now have to wait until July 20th!

It's not her flat ass I'm concerned about; it's her acting in this that really worries me.
