The medeivel humans are using Two-Edge "forest dozer" to advance deep into the Wolfriders forest stronghold. Armored humans who are armed with "wrist rockets", swords, and arrows stay close to these remarkable contraptions, that allow no canopy-coverage as they chop all trees down in its path.
A brief skirmish ensues, where Venka is saved by Zhantee's force-shield, and the elves retreat. Cutter decided to have Ekuar open a path underground to meet with the trolls. Possibly the elves are interested in recruiting diggers to sneak underground into the city undetected. It sure seems like a long way to go, but Cutter wants to be extra-careful.
Finally, King Picknose allows the two runtlings, brother and sister Drub and Flam to go with the remaining wolfriders on a dangerous mission. These trolls hope for glory, honour and above all else, treasure.
The humans find the hole left be Ekuar's digging, and an underground battle follows. It ends in a decisive victory for the Trolls, and the Elves leave with two trolls.
