Sophie Turner is one of the most beautiful actresses on the planet, but her Jean hair has been hideous in all the pictures so far.

Not a fan of the new Nightcrawler...hate the hair.

All of them look terrible except for the old Psylocke and the new Storm, perhaps.

I've been waiting for mohawk Storm for well over ten years.FINALLY!

I had NO IDEA Psylocke was in X-men the last Stand. And second I guess it makes sense on the Cyclops one because I was very angry on why did they kill off the team leader. Personally I felt that's kinda selfish ask the producer to kill you so you can go to another movie. Storm eh she's ok I just hope she does some wicked weather. I like nightcrawler. Also I hope Jubilee has a better role in and not be a background character. Overall this looks ok. I still hope this movie flops so Marvel can get the rights back.

The way I interpret that, is that due to changes in the timeline, things will happen very differently than they did the first time around, but that all the characters would still be fundamentally the same genetically speaking. But then again, I forgot that an adult Angel is supposed to prominently play in this movie as well. I get why they want to ignore X-3 and all, but they still had Kelsey Grammar Beast at the end of the last film, so it's kind of hard to distance themselves from it now.

I don't mind any of the new actors/actresses, but I don't understand the comments about Nightcrawler's parentage. For peeps not paying attention, both Mystique and Azazel appeared in X-Men: First Class, which was NOT temporally cock-blocked by Days of Future Past, so why would his parents be different? As to the others, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has adopted elements from both the Ultimate continuities as well as the mainstream universe and blended them together, as well as incorporating their own elements. If the movie house turning out the X-films do as well, no problem. ~shrugs~

I did the math and you're probably right. There's a 9 year gap between First Class and DOFP, and Mystique sided with Magneto and Azazel at the end of First Class. It could be Azazel's death (by Trask) is a "truer" motivational factor for Mystique's actions in DOFP if they had a relationship and possibly a kid. The caveat is that Nightcrawler would have to be born before Azazel's death (obviously) and it must mean Azazel died in the early 70s, right before DOFP 1973.

I'm actually disappointed that we don't really get a full Psylocke story. No one seems to care or remember who she once was... that tells me that, like most mutants in Xmen films, she's just there for some action sequences and not much more.
