During a Q&A session on Twitter, X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer discussed a bit about the 2016 film, including the Four Horsemen, the characters being brought into the film, and the most sophisticated scene Singer has ever shot in his career.

While there was quite a bit discussed in the four-minute video, there were a few key points the director went over. Singer was asked about the story, after a fan saw the trailer, and Singer discussed, overall, a bit more what the film is going to be about:

"It's a much bigger film. It deals with things on a global level. It deals with the history of mutants, the ancient history of mutants, and it's our first trailer and we'll have another one coming out next year that will be even bigger."

Singer went on to say that Storm is his favorite Horseman. Ben Hardy, who plays Angel, asked a question and singer's response was about how sinister and evil Hardy's character is in the film. Olivia asked about Psylocke as well.

"She's [Psylocke] an intense character... and designed very much like the comic book. I think you [Munn] and I had weighed in on that, and I'm excited for that."

Singer explained that he's excited to reintroduce characters like Nightcrawler, Jean Grey, and others in their younger forms. Singer was then asked about the hardest scene to shoot and it involves Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters, which took 17 days to shoot but is only in the film for 2-3 minutes.

So happy Olivia Munn as pyslocke , i like that Marvel movies are consistent with beautiful women .

As for the story , i'm a collector since way before all this reboot Hollywood " i just wanna use Character names to just make a movie franchise shtick ."..not so happy about it ,

Magneto as a horseman , nope , that destroys a lot of storyplots

Storm as a horseman , ya seen how long it took for forge to train Storm , & she's claustrophobic a feat Apok would consider a weakness & not chose as a horseman

the Way Apok looks , ehh not so happy it doesn't ring First mutant exposed to Future Tech metaphysics , it looks lazy work .

Psylocke as a horseman i believe when Apok came out Psylocke was still blond hair & no Siege of Perilous yet .not a ninja psionic yet .

..but lets see what happens .

@tristanheron: Hmm, that's somewhat less exciting than I imagined. Although I was just thinking about how the mansion hasn't been completely destroyed in any of the movie.

We knew he wasn't going to be a good guy but I'm disappointed to hear that Angel is "so sinister and evil". This doe not bode well for him surviving the movie.

That's disappointing.

How so? Pretty sure they mean the scene is only 2-3 mins - not that Quicksilver only has 2-3 mins screen time.

Of course Storm is his favourite Horseman. Storm is bae guys.

Nightcrawler looks terrible

My only (minor) complaint is that the kid playing him is just way too tall. He absolutely towers over Cyclops.
