    When Cable reformed the New Mutants, he made them his soldiers. They became a mutant "black ops" team, assigned to kill not just the enemies of the X-Men, but of all mutantkind. Although this team eventually disbanded, the X-Force moniker has persisted in successive iterations of more and more aggressive X-teams.

      This week's Cup o' Joe shows an exclusive preview of X-Force: Sex & Violence with Gabrielle Dell'Otto's art:





    Honestly I don't understand the point of the title when it come to blood and gore on it. I understand that it focuses on more realistic things (I mean not everything is flowers and pink, and the good guys don't always win), but I don't understand the idea of showing so much blood and gore into the art, but that's just my opinion...

    What do you think?

    I'm sure there's a reason for it, but right now I can't imagine any reason that would mean Josh shouldn't heal Dom.  Beautiful art... looks painful though.

    It does not focus on "realistic things" ("dark and gritty" does not automatically equal "realistic"). Blood and gore is what the title is all about. Why do you think they created a team with only low powered slicer/dicer types in it? I mean this team's first target was Cable fer chrissakes, how much sense did that make? And how much sense does it make to send this low powered group after a very well funded, multi-cell terrorist organization? It doesn't. Period.
     
    It may be well executed, packaged cleverly, etc. but it's just about the gore. They had Wolfsbane eat her father, what is that but a shock tactic?  Kyle and Yost know that people will pay to see bloody violence, and as Quentain Tarrantino has shown everyone, the bloodier the better.

    i like how elixirs hand looks like its going black when logan grabs it maybe hes starting to learn to balance his offence with his healing better lol

    da story is about domino being hunted down and she wont let the x-force get involved but wolverine wont let elexr heal her until she explains whats going on
