    Wonder Woman #234 - And Death My Destiny! by razzatazz on May 20, 2011

    This issue is absolutely one of the best of the entire silver age.  It is based on the Earth 2 World War 2 Wonder Woman, but it examines an issue actually in interesting detail.  After dealing with the leviathan from the previous issue Diana confronts the captain of the U- but inadvertently gets captured.  Throughout the issue the captain is uttering racial epithets at one of his one of his prisoners, which I felt was kind of wrong, even for a comic about this era, but in the end it makes sense....
