Loves me some monster killing
So I just finished We Kill Monsters #3 (Of 6) And I really like this book.
Let me give you a quick run down of the story if you don't already know it: Jake and Andrew the Basher brothers run an auto shop in a country town. They are attacked by some type of monster/creature in the first issue and Basher brother Jake is wounded by this beast. The wound is on Jake's left arm, and low and behold that gets "monsterfied" as you see on this issue's cover.
Andrew's exgirlfriend, Vanessa, who is one of the local bartenders joins them as her dad is caught by surprise by a flying monster. She is now fueled by revenge.
So in issue #3 the trio of monster killers tracks the flying monster to a barn. At first the beast has it's way with them. They regroup at the auto shop, formulate a plan, and go back out hunting the flying freak.
They notice something about this monster at the end...We they be able to track it's origins?
I really like this series, the artwork and coloring really pops out at you. I rate it a 3.5 overall, would have been a 4 or 4.5 if there was just more content. But hey, leaving you wanting more is better then the opposite, right?
Pick yourself up issues 1-3, you won't be dissapointed.
