    Not a bad start for the series. Havok and Scarlet Witch are the subjects of most characterization in the book. John Cassaday's pencils are pretty awesome, and the Red Skull's plan is... ew! About those 18 variant covers... a little over the top?

      First issue of the new series coming out of Avengers Vs. X-Men, and is the first issue to be released from the Marvel NOW! concept.       Recommendation: “Yeah, you are not gonna want to miss the foundation started here.”First off. How many variant covers do we need? Seriously.AND, a 1:300? Come on. AND a variant of a variant only eligible if your story throws a party? I get the Deadpool thing, but, “Call Me, Maybe?” - NOOOOOO!This is quite some initiation we have going on here.
