    With the end of the first season of AMC's The Walking Dead, the only way to get new content is with the monthly comic. For some crazy reason when the series first started, I dismissed it as just another zombie comic series. I soon learned how foolish that was.  
     
    I bought the first trade and realized what I was missing. I dug it so much I decided to buy the hardcover trades instead. Finally with the sixth volume of the trades, I decided I couldn't wait for the next. I got caught up with the individual issues as of issue #79. And then issue #80 seemed to disappear.  
     
    Image Comics just sent over a preview for the issue and it's going to come out this week. Written by Robert Kirkman with art and cover by Charlie Adlard & Cliff Rathburn, "No Way Out" begins. The only information on the comics is, "Being surrounded by a wall keeps things out--but it also keeps you in. 
     
    The surviving members thought they were finally in a safe place. We all knew that couldn't last, right? Check out the preview.

    I'm around issue #30 so Idk who he is but now I know not to get too attached to the character when I am finally introduced to him...
     
    I do love this series, though.

    This should be required reading for all comic book fans. I get way more titles than I want to admit,, and Walking Dead is always on the top of my "read" pile.

    This is SUCH a great book.  I was introduced this world thanks to the AMC series, and I'm all caught up with the books.    How could i have been missing this all this time?

    This one doesn't even hit the "read" pile (which is scary tall at the moment).  I read it the second it comes out of the box it was shipped in and file it away in its longbox.

    Its fine Bruce was just a side character introduced a few issues ago. Not a big loss. They're not going to show a main character get killed in the preview.

    I've finally have caught up with it by ready that last 2 trades the other night at the book store. Though I still need to read the other ones . I left off where the Governer was attacking them.
