    West Side

This is the best Huntress story in the series so far.  It is a tragedy tribute to stories like West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet.  It is an obvious tribute however so much so that Susan Ho refers to herself as being like the girl from West Side Story.

This issue deals with Huntress trying to put her father's murderers to Justice.  This is disruped by a gang known as the Jade Phantoms.  This is where the West Side Story happens.  The story was nice blend of Huntress' pursuit of her father's murderers and the side story.

One thing I didn't like was the Grey Tiger and the Jade Phantoms being set up as a cool part of the Huntress saga and then never showing up again in the series.  I thought having three prominent gangs fighting each other for power would have made the Huntress saga more thrilling.

I like the story but not a big fan of the art.  I rarely mark down for that and I didn't do it here either.  Over all I liked the book and gave it four out of five stars or a eight out of ten.  I would recommend if to anyone especially a Huntress fan.  As a matter of fact if you are a Huntress fan it is a must have for it's original origin story.
