I just hope this movie doesn't tarnish the reputation of my beloved childhood icons, but who knows maybe it will be good. We need to stay optimistic.

I really don't understand why everyone is jumping on this.

1. Obviously there are tons of better options than Megan Fox. I don't think anyone would disagree with that -- not even Megan Fox. She has even joked that an Oscar isn't in her future.
2. I love how he basically ends it by saying he doesn't really care, then everyone jumps on it.

I think Megan Fox as April is even worse than Shailene Woodley playing MJ in the next Amazing Spider-Man movie.

These casting choices are driving me crazy.

April needs to be played by someone normal looking, who has charisma and is attractive enough for me to stalk.

yea I'm not really happy with these casting choices either.

I still think this is bad casting but we'll have to wait and see...I hope I'm wrong.

Laird should never have sold his rights...it seems like Eastman is really eager to pimp TMNT out for money and maybe if Laird still had a say in things he might have been able to save this movie

And yet nothing he says actually matters, he's just whining.

April 80's will always be hotter than Fox

I hope this movie fails hard Bay is screwing up my turtles.

So...Michael Bay is involve in the next TMNT film...that's just great, another franchise that won't be having any decent movie coming out in the near foreseeable future.

God I'm not looking forward to this. Not one bit. I'll give it till the teaser to decide whether it's worth watching.

Like Megan Fox and the English girl in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Are they serious in trying to convince us that LeBeouf has what it takes to land that kind of body on that kind of girl in that kind of film?

Someone wants to fit in. Where is the One Direction jokes ? JK :P

Too bad Laird doesn't get any input into this movie. Seems like Eastman is kinda selling out.

Right?! I would rather have Dunst than some cliche ABC teen actress. OR better yet, why not discover and cast someone new? If I were a director or someone whos job it was to cast people for films, thats exactly what I would do. All these big names being used just to get more publicity is dumb.

Hollywood is just too stale nowadays. They aren't even trying anymore. Their casting choices make no sense. Megan Fox isn't even human.

Yes, continue to bash Eastman even though we don't know anything about the movie's script (people love siding by the leak even though they claim that idea was killed awhile ago) and he's giving the franchise tons of love over in the IDW comics (with Tom Waltz) -- but hey, who reads the comics anyway, right?

Yes why not, i also liked Transformers and Megan should have been in all movies but you know both have a big mouth and boom Megan was out after Revenge of the Fallen.

I don't understand what the big fuss is. No, she's not the best actress but her being in it isn't going to ruin the whole movie. There are plenty of things that could possibly do that besides Megan Fox. I just hope it doesn't tarnish the TMNT name. Hopefully Kevin Eastman plays a big role in script writing or something where he has an effect on the movie.

Her being in this doesn't even place on my list of things wrong with this movie.

I'm wearing my Turtles shirt at the moment with a heavy heart.

I don't care if it sucks, it's not like it effects me in any way, i still have the good memories of the turtles, and I can easily, ignore this if it looks like it will suck. People act like their legs are being torn off , so dramatic. I look forward to it, because if it sucks, then that hack will have to accept that fact. Just like ninja theory and their DMC reboot.
