right now I'm going to say I don't like it...I don't like the design at all...all of those swirls of red look horrible....I'm guessing that they changed the suit to distance it from the previous movies but man there is absolutely nothing wrong with the original suit and they should have stuck with that

Agreed. If it's not broken, don't fix it. This is kind of upsetting...

Which costume is better? This one, or the Green Lantern one?

I actually like the design of the suit, it's a nice mixture of red and blue and reminds me something an Olympic running would wear so maybe that's what they were going for? It reminds me of Spidey's House of M costume honestly. But the mask.....not so much, why are the eyes red too? Doesn't really make any sense for that.....

Of course pictures from the set without any lighting or what have you will look awful. I like it.

I showed this to my little cousin and he almost cried in disappointment... lol?

Apparently, there is talk of this only being the stunt suit. Those stupid boot things he's wearing might be to protect his feat, and his lenses are actually red, its probably for stunt purposes. As of now, the suit is meh, Green Lantern's destroys this one.

not to keen on the mask hopefully other pictures show it looking better, theirs only one thing i'm wondering and thats were are the web shooters

O_o I now notice the red light glaring off the costume, so thank you for pointing that out xD But they do still looks red but I can see what your talking about, so that does ease my doubts, I guess I'll just have to wait until more photo's come out to give my full judgment on them now. "

They'd better fix it up with CGI later... Seriously, I was hesitant about the first picture they released, but that right there looks just awful.

I'll wait for an official picture or the thing in motion before I judge.

It has a real Ultimate Spider-Man feel to it, could be good with proper lighting...

I'm sure it'll look different in the movie, but so far from these pics I'm not impressed. I liked the first pic that leaked though, the one where he has no mask on. That once actually looked decent.

The inability to see the webbing on his suit bothers me greatly, in addition the red taper-ing they placed on his legs. The slip-on boots look funny. The holes are lame because they seem to stand out too much. I would rather have them use the Ben Parker costume, those were my favorite web shooters =]

Why cant people just leave things alone... they had something good and every time they try to make something better it always turns out worse...

The eyes are not red, it's just the way light is reflecting on them in that particular pic. "
