Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager, granting him spider-like powers. After the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter learned that "with great power, comes great responsibility." Swearing to always protect the innocent from harm, Peter Parker became Spider-Man.
@theacidskull: I'm hoping that Miles coming to the 616 universe (if that is what happens in "Survive") that it's just to find a way to restore the ultimate universe. I could see him maybe sticking around as a sidekick, but I wouldn't really like that.
"Spider-Men" made TONS of money,in comicbook sales,and was the best Peter Parker book in years.......why would they 'cancel' Pete forever ,and put Miles mainstream,when they can team up occasionally?.....
