Peter might stop being Spider-man as steve wacker mentioned there could be a new Spider-man a few months ago and if he dies he will be back for his 50th anniversery and the new movie!!!

This. "The Other" storyline has been avoided long enough in BND. I hope he gets those powers back or some new ones.
@The Angry Comic Book Critic: I think this may undo the Other retcon, but not OMD as a whole. This just represents Marvel's complete inability to come up with an original or decent story. Sure, Pete will be back within a year, but that's not the ****ing point. They killed the Sentry, turned Emma into a 2D *****, killing a member of the F4, killed Cap, turned the X-Men into a militia, made Magneto a good guy and had Venom become comic relief. Quesada has no idea what he's doing, Bendis is incompetent and the rest of Marvel's staff isn't doing a thing to undermine their idiocy.

Either way, it's gotten to the point of it just being ridiculous. Marvel have screwed up ALL of their decent characters in the past few years, and this for me, is the last straw;

As I said, it's the principle, if he dies or not is irrelevant. The point is that Marvel hasn't told a good story in about 5 years that hasn't revolved around some ridiculous over the top gimmick. Amazing Spider-Man was the only good book Marvel has been putting out and now this.

That's just your own opinion though, and I completely disagree. Marvel has many great titles, off the top of my head I know Invincible Iron Man has been a great title since #1 and will stand by this comment, Captain America as well. Saying ASM is Marvel's "ONLY GOOD" book is crazy and totally untrue, and if you believe that then you need to start reading more of Marvels other titles, because there are many titles that are great right now and have fantastic story's.

I remember reading an interview with Dan Slott and he mentioned on the subject that Spider-Man may being getting his dream job and hitting "the big time," but that doesn't mean he won't find a way to screw it up. It's still poor Peter Parker, y'know? :P

I like their cosmic stuff but it's far too expensive to try and get into. Iron Man should be dead after all the screw ups he's made, and I do like Captain America, but I don't care for Bucky as Cap.
HAHAHAHA lol that had me in stitches for ages. Seriosly though, it's just a ploy by Marvel to get more readers which they will through the nagging incentive in the reader's mind that Spidey will die but in fact won't because death means nothing to comic books. Annoying though. They should kill off Ultimate Spidey which is what I first thought this was for.
